Blacks are naturally aggressive...most blacks just love to resist arrest compared to the whites...in as much as racism should not b tolerated, but the truth is that it is part of the human mental system... the blacks 4kd up by selling themselves to the whites...the are still fucking up with their mentality... they believe all their problems are caused by the whites...they dint like school and they love crime, they feel going to prison is kool, they hv the highest number of strippers and baby mamas, they don't want to work , rely on child support and drugs... typical lazy entitled black mentality ... policemen are always in constant fear while dealing with them...they have so much hatred for whites and also very racist

So you went to dig out one case from 1999. And use to derive conclusion. What's your point? Did you read anywhere in my post that murder is justified? I'm telling you this shooting is a result of years and years of criminal profiling of a black man. One thing about profiling is it's exaggerated, but the situation exists nevertheless. Blacks are violent.

FlackoJodye:
Before june 2018 that world cup tyme when i first went to oakland, i used to be this kinda nigga that always believe that black people whine too much about racism and if a white call u some racial slurs , u should as well just call them back(dont try this is in america cos if them call cops on u grin grin), i also thought leaving nga will end my woes with police forevrr till sometym around march 2019 when i was wit my whte chick in a rsturat and they balled in and said they received a distress call that a black male (around my age 19as at then) was in possession of some arms around that resturant(whareverthefvck?) boy!, i tell u real life about 4 black young guys in that resturant that tym includin a waiter and me was bundled outside (SARS STANDARD!!, I THOUGHT AMERICAN POLICE WHEREE MORE CIVILISED)and ordered to lie down face flat on the ground(worse than i described oooo) , i was an immigrant and i knew m accent might get me into extra problem(lwkmd) so i had to improvise and switch to ebonics like the rest but the ebonics was nit flowng at all cos it was a life and death situation, they choked the nigga next to me like a hoe inna strip club and d guy was barely breathin, i saw death in 3D and i almsot peed on myself,m y only saving grace was my white boo libbie as she came out and started using her white priviledge to ginger d racist cops one of the things that saved my life (another thing ill never advise a black or hispanic person to do in that situation in america), the guys searched all of us first time, proceeds to search again, and this while choking d akata guy near me,the guy almsot lost it there, people started videoing d whole shit and d weather changed, the cops disaapointed they didnt see any gun stood up and still ordered us to remain on the ground as they zoomed off(typical shii sars would do), my white okpo carried my ass to the hospital and that was when i did some tests and saw i got a fractured rib,and a dislocated finger.very sad experince but it was my only one, omo i later made friends with that akata guy deshaun and i and him learnt javascript and php togerther with one other chick like that,i also broke up with that libbie girl,i was cheatin thou(i'll admit it grin grin),finally moved to canada now where i work for my tech firm, making d least bar, abeg thank God and taht nigga deshaun for me,canadas way more better and they have a better regard for human life.phht america

Thank you for this. I try to explain to friends that its not that bad here. Just do what's right n mind your business. African-American r aggressive n this is why a white person or cop brings out their own aggression to interact with them. Poeple dont even realize how some African American treats a typical African here. Most whites r cool regardless, just a few bad once. America has a solid foundation. Its a blessed country.

In regards to Police relations, Nigeria is better. Nigerian police mostly wants money from you. If they should shoot and kill anyone, the chances are that they will be arrested and prosecuted right away.
The problem in the US is that the police will kill an unarmed black person and still claim they have done nothing wrong. Not only that, the Police Union will claim the officer didn't do anything wrong even when the whole world can see that the police is in the wrong. The city mayor and the prosecutor will also defend the police officers no matter how bad they behaved.
To make the matter worse, even when the are arrested and charged, the usually ALL WHITE JURY will eventually find them not guilty.

All of you supporting Trump, don't understand the history of Police brutality. It's not about one case, it's about a systemic institutionalized oppressive methodology that has been in place for DECADES. This is just the straw that broke the camel's back .

Trump is just making it worse with his open racist attitudes, unfortunately some Nigerians are more concerned about religion than their own race.

Your first sentence, Nigerian police will kill and nothing will happen because there are no cameras or cctv, please don't compare USA and Nigeria, compare USA and UK but let's stop deceiving ourselves.

The US is overhyped in all entirety! Especially during this Trump’s tenure. His words are really damaging and this has made the US less appealing!

The country has always been overhyped. Trump is just bringing out their real colour.

Seriously? DO you know how many are killed in the US were there's no video evidence? More than you can imagine. Most of the ones that has lead to Police riots were not recorded via CCTCV, they were recorded by other people who witnessed the events.
Pls tell us the police killings in Nigeria in recent times where the officers were not arrested?

Again I'm telling you Trump as an American citizen can say whatever he wants, the First Ammendment also applies to him. Was what he said distasteful, YES! But is it his right to say it, HELL YEA! The article you provided never mentioned he told police to kill protesters, your son might be in the army but you know nothing about police training! When confronted with force, an officer has the right to protect his or herself. This was what Trump meant don't even try to spin it as saying go out and kill all protesters!

Whether you vote trump out or not is none of my business, I voted for Obama twice and also voted for Trump, if Biden presents me with a strong alternative, I'll vote for him too. Unlike you who thinks everyone that supports Trump is automatically a Foxnews supporter, I hate both Foxnews and CNN with a passion, both media houses lacks objectivity and have been known to mislead Americans.

With that said, I'm going to use your own tactics against you, you said the protest in front of the WH was peaceful, here's a CNN article excerpt:

https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/31/politics/trump-underground-bunker-white-house-protests/index.html

Realize I'm more than just your average bloke that take things from one side only and gets outraged, I look for the truth from both sides and try to make my own decisions.

You see how you just proved by yourself that you are really an AVERAGE BLOKE?

The incident you posted from CNN about protesters trying to break down barriers happened on May 31st. The incident where PEACEFUL PROTESTERS WERE REMOVED SO THAT TRUMP CAN VISIT A CHURCH HAPPENED ON JUNE 1. Read and comprehend before rushing to post.
Here's another link
https://www.npr.org/2020/06/01/867532070/trumps-unannounced-church-visit-angers-church-officials

So you are telling the world that it's ok for the President to encourage Police officers to bang the heads of suspect while making arrests? What a joke.
BTW, Police brutality does not only mean killings, it involves all unnecessary force used by Police in the line of duty.

This is part of what Trump said about making arrest, pls explain to us how this is any officer defending him or her self when the suspect is already handcuffed and in police car.

“Like when you guys put somebody in the car, and you’re protecting their head, you know, the way you put your hand over” their head, he said, putting his hand above his head for emphasis. “I said, ‘You can take the hand away, O.K.?’”

I don't know who's feeding you all these wrong information - no one is protesting an officer defending him or her self, we are talking about Police putting their keen on the Neck of a suspect that's already in handcuff, Police officers shooting an unarmed man running away from the Police, officers invading someone's home while they are watching TV and shooting them in the comfort of their own home. I don't know which Police academy you went to, but none of them train officers to shoot anyone running away, shooting putting their knee on the neck of an handcuffed suspect and other act acts that people are protesting for.

I beg, tell the world how this officer was justified to put his KNEE on the NECK of a suspect that is HANDCUFFED ON THE GROUND.

Pls Mr sharlock, explain for us which police academy teaches officers to shoot unarmed men.

I told you previously, stop watching too much FOX TRASH.

I did American Constitution up to GRADUATE LEVEL so I know what the constitution says and it says you have the right to free speech which has been interpreted by the Supreme Court to include but not limited to burning the US flag, refusing to stand up for the Anthem, the right to take a knee or sit down during the anthem.

My son and others in the US MILITARY are fighting to make sure that every American have the RIGHTS that are enshrined in the US CONSTITUTION.

So when we have issues in Nigeria, it's ok for US house of Reps members, Senators and Consulate to poke nose but we shouldn't talk about theirs? Yeah right. America poke nose in every other country's business more than any other country on Earth. If you want to police the world, you better have your shit right. You can't lecture other countries about human right when your own citizens are killed daily by Cops for no just reason.

You're full of shit and just mixing apples with oranges. Nowhere have I ever justified what the police did, NOWHERE! My argument stems simply from putting all officers in one basket and claiming all cases of police shooting unarmed people were unjustified. A suspect running away from police officer can and will be shot if deemed fit by the officer that the person is a danger to the public or him or herself. I hate when people with no knowledge of police training claim to be some sort of knowitall when you don't know shit! Here's a supreme court ruling statement on theis issue specifically the Garner case of 85:

The justices ruled 6-3 that shooting fleeing suspects who are not an imminent threat violates the person’s constitutional rights. They said officers can use lethal force to stop a fleeing felon only if they have reasonable grounds to think the suspect is a danger to police or bystanders. And they added that officers should, if possible, shout out a warning before firing.

Moving on, you were the one that claimed protesters in front of the white house were peaceful, I cited a source that said otherwise and you refute it by saying it was a different date, whether May 31st or June 1st, the Secret Service saw credible threats to raise an alert, protesters that came on May 31st can you say none of them were present on June 1st? For the officers that got minor injuries, do you feel sympathy for them or if one of them had died would you be saying the rubbish you're saying now? I don't know if you've ever had an encounter with Secret Service before but I have, even when the president or another important political detail is visiting, movement is restricted, when you protest in front of a secured location, you are asking for trouble and when there's precedence of people throwing stuff, trying to overpower security then you simply don't call that PEACEFUL!

Once again I never defended the police officers, simply stating not all issues are black and white like you zealots like to portray! Yes the 1st Ammendment protects right to protest, free speech and so on but it does not protect you from all consequences. You lose the protection once you become a danger, either real or perceived! You have a son in the military and read the Constitution as part of your graduate studies and that makes you an expert on the Constitution and police training? PLEAAAAAASE!

I hold 3 masters, I'm 3/4th way through my Ph.D and have 2 cops, 3 military veterans and a judge in my family but I'm no expert either, I will not discount all your points totally because you made some good ones but let's not pretend all cases of police shooting unarmed people were racially motivated or unjustified. It's one thing to claim police need better training, it's another to say they are out to get all black people!

How did the case end?.Was the police summoned by the DPO? was he charged for assault and punished in anyway and were you compensated?

The DPO summon the irresponsible idiots and they deny confronting me as usual, so I called out his uniform number and vehicle description. If you see the slap DPO give am. I know all na for formality because na same DPO dey send these policemen to extort people. The DPO then asked if I will press charges, I said no but I want him to slap the guy again for me since I can slap a police man, he laughed and pleaded I forgive him. We laughed fake laugh and everyone went their way. If you press charge against police people they will plan your death lol. Life na sense. Anytime squad see me, all of them dey throwaway face.

Hey hey hey, did I hit a raw nerve? why the causing? I got you rattled? GOOD!

Well I only have one Masters which is an MBA and I don't have any appetite for a PHD. Travelling and making money seems to satisfy me for now.

I'm really not in the mood for any long response to your diatribes. All I can say is that NO ONE is saying that all White folks are bad and all blacks are good. I have worked in at least 3 top Fortune 500 companies, lived in America for most of my life hence I have seen it all. I have had good and racist Whites, I have also had good and bad anti African Blacks. Back in the 80s , African Americans used to accuse us Africans of getting special privileges from Whites because we are sucking to the White man. Not understanding that we came to America with a different attitude and mindset to make it at any cost, hence we are willing and ready to work under conditions that an African American will not tolerate or put up with.
There are good Cops and there are bad cops. Most Cops are god but they all get tainted when they try to justify the actions of the bad ones among them. That's where the anger is coming from. You are bias anyway because you have Cops in your family hence your world view on the topic is a bit tainted and clouded.
We are talking about Police actions that even Trump agrees is bad and you are talking about situations where a Police officer will be justified to use force. Pls stop mixing up the 2. The people protesting all over the world are not dumb dumb, they are educated, they have eyes and can see for themselves the acts of these bad cops on video.
You are simply diluting the discussion in order to justify your narrow shallow views, it's much more than what keep referring to.
There are bad Cops and those Cops are protected by other Cops/Police Unions etc when they maltreat suspects period. Everything else is just that -EXCUSES.

On a funny note- your boy Trump said he only went to inspect the bunker under the WH not that he was running to it because of the protest. grin grin grin grin grin grin

Pls advice him to stop lying for no good reason, even a baby knows that it's just another lie from Trump.

There are bad cops, bad doctors, bad teachers, bad office workers, bad politicians etc. I suggest you talk with your fellow protesters and perhaps conduct a statistical survey you'll see that what protesters are protesting differes greatly from one group to another, some are protesting police brutality, some are protesting racism as a whole, some are protesting against America itself while others are protesting against Trump. I do agree with you the issue is broader than most people truly know but when anyone that counters such protest is seen as an enemy of the black people or a Trump supporter then you lose all objectivity in the discussion, you can't have a racial/police reform discussion when both sides automatically dismisses or berates eachother. America did not get this way under Trump alone, we had 8 years of a black president and can someone explain how come he couldn't implement proper police reforms and uplift the black community?

The answer is simple, not even a black president was ready for the amount of work, energy, blood, sweat and tears required for true change in America, politicians cans ay whatever they likem, only those of us living in black communities can know the true extent of these issues. So Trump supporter or not, I've learned to listen to both sides before making my own decisions and I implore you to do the same, otherwise there's no use in even dreaming or hoping that black lives matter!

I'm sorry. Just wrong.

To give you a background. I'd probably be one of those "acceptable" black people white people like to talk about, you know the "non thuggish type". Highly educated, top schools, doing well, etc. etc. I've been pulled over by police at least 8 times, 3 at gun point(one time they thought my friends and I were robbery suspects and were surrounded by 3 squad cars with guns pointed at us), once standing outside my super elite high school (someone claimed I had a gun; I was 15) while waiting for my mom to pick me up and arrested once (for asking a cop for his badge number when he tried to kick me off my predominantly white campus about 10 feet from my dorm because he thought I couldn't possibly be a student there, in fact he told me I should get off campus (in this instance I was told it was my fault for asking a cop for his badge number)).

My friends and I (all very successful African/African Americans) were having a discussion yesterday about how they were going to talk to their children about being a "black male" in America. Even given their socio-economic advantages, it was even sadder to know that they would have to have these discussions with their young children. Watch the video of that "Karen's" interaction with that Harvard educated bird watcher and the "efficiency" in the words she uses to get the maximum police response. "African American", "threatening". And this is a woman who probably voted for Obama.

There is a history of systematic racism in this country that is ingrained in its DNA. There are people alive today who lived in a time when the US was segregated and thus there are still people alive who believed in segregation and taught that to their children. I assume most white people over 60 are racist, just because that is most likely what they knew or knew from their parents growing up. And that kind of indoctrination no matter how much you think you've changed doesn't go away easy.

America has a solid foundation? What is this foundation you speak of built on? The US fought a civil war largely because of slavery. The losers, the ones who wanted to own Black people, still fly their treasonous flag (confederate flag) in some statehouses today! My friend and your view, I wish you luck!

I know what you mean, but you can't compare the 2. I don't condone either of the two but after living in America for over 30years before relocating I know the difference.

You guys just new to America, probably less than ten years. But you guys will soon find out. White people hates black with passion but they don't show it. White will kill you for being black. African American might hate Africans out of ignorance but not going to kill you for being black.

Well, everyone has a different story. I'm going on my 20th here.

Well, let's just say the cost of living is relative to their minimum wage, which is a reflection to their good standard of living, which is amongst the best in the world.

Black Lives will never matter to Trump.

I feel you my friend. Those experiences are pretty bad. Tracing this to slavery is absolutely the right place to start. We all have our different experiences though, but i totally understand you and probably because you are more exposed to them, you feel their pulse better too. I'm in a predominantly white city but mostly nice people everywhere. May God protect us all.

The US is overhyped in all entirety! Especially during this Trump’s tenure. His words are really damaging and this has made the US less appealing!

I can't say, but my cousin lives there with his family, and he's doing pretty well.
The thing is, learn how to speak a lil bit of Norwaegian, then chances of settling in and doing ok is all but guaranteed, irrespective of race or skin colour.
And of course...learning a skill in high demand or studying a professional course.

Slavery ended since the 1800s, racial and systematic oppression took over until the 1970s when everyone basically had protected rights, by the 1990s blacks started moving into the Hamptons and other luxurious places, by the 2000s we had more white people on welfare and foods stamps than blacks.

So if you're saying the system is only unfair to blacks, what would you say to the white crackhead living in section 8? What would you say to the white teenager that can't get into a good school because there's no money. I know it is easy to see things from one side but if you can just try and open your mind to both sides of the issue, you'll know that in this 21st century, the failures of blacks has more to do with mindset than any other thing. I've lived in the USA for over a decade, I see as my black brothers and sisters continue to waste their lives, I see how they would rather spend their income tax return on Nike's and gold chains than bonds/stocks. I see that if you give a black man/woman $10,000, he or she would be broke in 6 months. Sometimes the real enemy of the black man is the black man himself!

So you don't think the slavery and systematic oppression of black race has not done irriparable damage on their sychic? Look at Africans today, don't you think we are in the same storm with black Americans we just not in the same boat. Just asking.

Sweetie ❤️ isn't the Netherlands being criticized for their portrayal of black people because of the negative and racist character Zawart Piet(Black Pete)? I remember reading about this years ago. Black people were protesting the black character portrayed as Santa's Slave and the white racists were fighting to keep the character.
