Hello guys, so I applied for GCMS notes and I got already. The reason is stated in the pic attached. How do I tackle this?

PS: I studied Applied Geophysics for my undergraduate studies and I got admission for PGC in Environmental management/Assessment. This course is an aspect of geophysics. How do I go about this?

These notes prove that these VOs actually go through the applications submitted.

It also appears that you didn't properly explain the relationship between the 2 courses.
I've learned that we shouldn't expect them to know, we should state all relationships. I think you'll have to share the documents u submitted and ur BSc grade that justifies going for PGC.

Good day all. Got masters of Business Administration offer at University Canada West, tuition fee of $35100 for 2 years. At the moment I can only afford half of this tuition but I plan to work along side my studies. My question now is this , I was told by the school that I can’t work more than 20 hours a week during the semester, is it possible to beat this ? Moreover when I take the semester off , do I pay tuition for the semester as well ?

Hey, kindly reach out....I got admission to same school.

Regards.

Thanks for the insight. Graduated with a 2:2. Below are the documents I submitted.
1. Passport Page
2. Sponsors Letter of Affidavit
3. Sponsors Statement of Accounts (Dad & Mum)
4. SOP
5. Police clearance certificate
6. All the forms we fill online
7. Family background documents
8. Properties owned by dad
9. Business Statement of account
My bro did most of the packaging so I really dont know all the documents he used.

For the family tie part, I have 2 brothers in Canada and just my parents here in Nigeria with Hotel business and Poultry. Both have the CAC documents. How do I tackle that too.

The task now is to proof the source of that money

Exactly. And that was why the company documents and company account was needed. The deposits in the personal account all came from the company account. That’s his source of income.

Are there other people involved in this company or he is the sole owner?

Just him and his wife.

If he pays tax from his business then he needs to present his last year tax paper to show that the money he is giving you is a profit from the business and not the actual capital.

Good morning guys!

I am unable to sign the family information form, should I go ahead and upload the document that way or is there any alternative way of signing it?

Secondly I will also like to know, is it okay to use two sponsors for my proof of funds i.e my Mum (Personal account) and Elder brother ( company account) ?

For online application, you don't need to sign the form. Just input your full name and date. Once you are ready to submit your application finally, you will be prompted to sign it with your full name as an attestation.

Using two people as sponsor is not bad, but the idea of using your brother's company account may not be a good move.

I need someone to help me out with this situation.

Early this year, before I made the decision to do my Masters in Canada, I loaned out N5m to a friend and we agreed he will pay me back 6 million naira after 5 months which he just did a few days ago.

This money is supposed to form part of my POF for my Visa application and I am sponsoring myself.

I am wondering how best to explain this to the VOs so it doesn't look like a lodgement of funds.

Should I just Highlight the initial transfer I did in my statement of account and then the refund + interest that was made few days ago?

Would this suffice?

Good morning everyone. So I got my letter of Admission this morning from Conestoga college Ontario, PGD cause I graduated from a polytechnic here in Nigeria.

I was told to pay my acceptance fee to get the acceptance letter as well as deposit $1,000 so everything amounting to $1,500 which will be deducted from my tuition fee.
The start date is September 8 2020.

Wanna ask, is it possible to defer my admission to Jan '21? cause I'm considering the pandemic and the distance as well as inability to get study visa.
If yes, must I pay the said $1,500 before deferring?

Thanks

Good evening everyone, thanks for the advice last week. I received an email that my admission will be moved to Jan '21. So is it safe to start preparing for visa application? Am I applying for study permit through cic or Lagos embassy? I quite confused on visa application site, as well as documents required. So I can start preparing for visa application.
I need your assistance.

Thanks

For the bolded, if you try to beat it... you will be deported and banned for life. 20hrs per week is the mandatory work time line for international students. It will be boldly written on your work permit.

As for the other question, I advise you plan yourself well before you come to canada. Plan how you will pay the fees, yes you can work while schooling but it's not that easy as you see it. Also your school will give you a certain length of time to pay the fees

I don't think it is compulsory you defer now. If there is still hope that visa gets issued before the last week of August, 2020. You can consider to explore the chance and most likely adopt the case by case basis deferral decision later on.

Also, from the abovementioned, deferring on/before the June 30th deadline (recommended by the school), is like giving up the dream till next year September.

You can continue to follow the developments of CIC and be at alert to make the best decision at the appropriate time.

Regards.
