Imagine a Niger Delta Republic Where

Akwai-ibom represents the states tourist attraction/ Recreational And sports center

Calabar - Returned to being the administrative center

Rivers- Business/ Industrial Capital

Bayelsa- oil and gas hub, and agriculture

Delta- Entertainment/industrial Hub And Agricultural Nerve center

Edo state- the historical side attraction center

Believe me one day our dream will come to past

Yes, the Niger delta dream is a work in progress but first of all we have to break the shackles that have held us back and divided us. #we Rise

Just ensure you keep Igbo speaking parts out of it. And we would be all good neighbors.

I wish Niger Delta republic peace and prosperity.

Its a beautiful dream, but absolutely nothing is being done to actualise it. None of the ethnic groups have ever even come out to say they even want a Niger Delta Republic

A country nobody is actively seeking to actualise is likely never to happen

Go with your dad. The literate Igbo don't want a tower of Babel country exactly because of the type of your father who raised you all with Igbophobic mentality as default settings.
Ndiigbo deserve a real rest after surving Nigeria. Sharing a country with a people whose fathers taught that Igbos are worst than Fulanis can never give us the rest we desire.

Then You and your dad are suffering from a severe case of igbophobia.

The mistake you minorities make is that you are willing tolerate any injustice and evil from the northerners as long as igbos are put in check.

Hmm I don’t think that’s a wise strategy because with the ways things are going......

Anyway I will just keep things to myself and watch it unfold.

Don't flatter yourselves.

Notice that southern Cameroonian tribes were the ones championing this ambazonia movement, yet the referendum would include parts of Nigeria, why do you think it's so?

It's simple. Because the colonial powers only deal with colonial maps, and the colonial map of German Cameroon that was shared by Britain and France after Germany lost the WW2, is what is being used to create this new country.
Hence Nigeria is being forced to vomit parts of Cameroon German it swallowed While Cameroon itself is forced to do the same.

IPOB believe that the colonial masters would only recognize Eastern region as a colonial entity and not Igboland.
That's why they are trying to woo the minorities, because it would be impossible to get an independent Igbo republic without first getting independent Eastern region approved.

Alternatively, because of our Anioma brothers that using Eastern region map would leave trapped in Nigeria, IPOB is considering the 1906 colonial Southern Nigeria map, that includes all southern Nigeria minus Yorubaland. It also include Igala and Idoma lands in Benue.

That's another colonial map that could be used, and that's why you feel like they are wooing those groups in that map. Igbo nationalists like myself know this. But we don't think it's worth the insults coming from those non Igbo groups.

The idea is to use those tribes to gain independence from Nigeria. And thereafter dump you all to form our Igbo republic. Whatever you do with yourselves thereafter. Is none of our business.

Don't think you are special or that Ndiigbo want anything from you. It's the colonial maps that is leaving us with no option but to negotiate with you lots.

IPOB is IPOB an organization with their own wishes and desires.

Igbo is an ethnic group of over 45 million bigger than so many nations.

Leave igbos out of your issues with IPOB. Open another tread to address them directly.

But don’t ever mix the two again.

It looks like the reality of IPOB delusions is beginning to set in for you. Pazienza tried so many times to caution you against IPOB type of Biafra but you weren’t listening.

I thank Asari for forcing you to rethink that dead IPOB strategy of including everyone and their mothers in the current Tower of Babel called Niger delta.
