John is one of the first century Born Again Christians that God's word foretold will see visions and dream dreams! Joel 2:28 compare to Act 2:16-18

Of course when talking about dreams Sir, the Bible itself is the most useful and best informative regarding interpretation of dreams.

No intelligent student of the book (Bible) expects dreams,m or visions to be interpreted literally after considering how dreams were interpreted in ancient times based on what we learnt from the same book! Genesis 41:1-7, 25-32

I've told you that Jehovah use his angels as his spokesman and since the angel is standing before you, Jehovah can turn the angel into an amplifier before you so that what is coming out of this angel's mouth is not of his own initiative but what Jehovah wants to say!

For instance, when Jesus was travelling two fierce looking mad men approached him and began speaking directly with him, {Matthew 8:28-29} do you agree that those men are just serving as mouthpiece to the powerful spirit beings that possessed them?

Well Jehovah does make use of his loyal spirit sons in a similar way.
