What happened to Japaul is detailed in the FS just released on the NSE? The company was exposed to Diamond Bank to several millions of dollars and this has remained unpaid for a while. Access Bank after the merger took over these liabilities, and just like everyone knows, the managers of Access Bank are not jokers when it comes to recovery of loan liabilities. They set the machinery in motion and quickly brought the matter to a close. Assets were disposed and the proceeds have been used to reduce their exposure to the Access bank.
The Japaul House beside LCCI Building on Nurudeen Olowopopo road close to Otedola Bridge on Lagos -Ibadan expressway was part of the assets disposed of. What business is the company currently involved in? Na dredging dem they do now. Vessels and the rest Oil and gas assets have been sold too.
I remember saying it here that a fnd whose father was jegede snr warned me to sell that the only thing left in japaul was dredging and dump trucks for selling of sand. What other insider information could be more than this. The only reason why I didn't sell was I was already seating on loss believing miracle could happen and analogy broker.

My dear I'm not distrubed at all because I know what I bought and the reason for buying it. I just felt like enlightening the forum members about the stock. Besides todays post on the UACN is the summary of everything. I will only speak about UACN again if and only if there is serious need to do so.

If you must buy penny stocks, make sure the managers are competent, the earnings and dividends are growing at a compounded annual growth rate of 10% and above for the past 3 years or more, minimum dividend yield of 10% and dividend payout ratio of 50%.

In other words, the company must work hard to attract your hard earned money.
The beauty of the market is chartists (jijoists) care less, while fundamentlists adhere, but they all still "chop" from the same market. grin

VIEWSDisclosed insider dealing seen impacting share prices.
It appears there is a correlation between insider dealings and share prices.
On May 28, 2020, a director at Dangote Cement, Devakumar Edwin, purchased 1 million units of the stock valued at N138.5 million. This is according to official disclosure by the company via the Nigerian Stock Exchange published June 1, 2020.

Between the 11th and 12th of May 2020, a major shareholder at UACN, Blakeney JP sold a cumulative 50 million unit os shares of the stock at prices ranging between N6.02 and N6.9.

Insider Dealing
The Nigerian Stock Exchange introduced the new “Insider Dealing” disclosure last year to limit the high prevalence of insider targeted sale of shares without informing the public. Proponents of transparency in matters of the stock exchange have often complained about insiders (directors and management of companies) with knowledge of the operations of the company trading the stock without adequate disclosures.

Yes from a fundamental point of view.
Not necessarily from a day-trading point of view.

Difference is the former is investing in the business, the later is trading the business' price movement.

I want to assume this is net of debits and credits.

Credit is coming from debts forgivenes by the bank(Access) which was previously accrued for by JP.
Debit is coming from assets lease out by JP which client defaulted in payments.

Agregate makes net credit. Which JP recognised as other income.

Note: This figure does not involve exchange of liquid cash. It is just for the books

You know, what I read here earlier was that they sold off assets to pay diamond debt, whereas diamond/access debt was a waiver.
You see what I was saying about sentiment? Nsempas are not even ready to look at what the financial book was saying at all. This doesn't look good enough.
I mentioned it sometimes ago that analysis of audited financial books have long been replaced with mere speculations, assumptions and sentiments here.

I need to go back to market now........we will be trading some stocks codedly since you're allergic to them. grin

Knowing that you are our resident subject matter expert on Morgan Capital issues grin

Please, what will I need to do if I place an order and it was partially filled, less than 5% of the order at my limit price before the market closed.

As I can still see it in my BUY ORDERS, can I adjust the price if the market opens lower?

System will automatically cancel the remaining quantities.
You have to place a fresh order in the next trading day at your desired price.

N3 billion from the profit will be used to pay you dividends of 50k per share, to prove to you that the profit is backed up by cash in the bank
