Life has not been really fair sha! I graduated since 2016 and yet to work. I am in constant depression as a result of my life issues. My 'near success syndrom' experiences leave me in pain. Imagine it! I studied a course i really didn't like in the pursuit for law degree so that i could help my maternal family fight a land case that involves crude oil and gas. I equally had the chance to travel and school in Australia, but my naivity made me jettison it. I have had a good job opportunity but missed out due to a spoilt phone( couldn't get the info on time). Late last year, i wanted to go for millitary direct short service but i considered my health issues and let it go even with connect. I am just hoping on the supreme court to do justice with our land case. Immagine the pain seeing others enjoying the oil money that comes from the soil you once owned and toiled on! Also,my friend and i have started sending some nice proposals to our state's ministries and oil companies under our newly founded company's name, hoping on one good response.

I've never experienced this kind of life in my life time.
Finished NYSC last year October, ever since then life has been terrible. Applied for jobs but wasn't selected, tried business (I redeem gift cards and buying bitcoins) but didn't last, no customers(the few ones I had left without any concrete reason), have a debt of 100k plus to settle. The only company that manage to consider me employed me with o level.(HND holder and I have NCE )
You can imagine that (the disrespect is best imagined).
Just tired of everything.
why can't you sign up with paxful.com?
Do their verification and raise your bitcoin biz back

Igolonwaanyi:
I've never been jobless.

Left secondary when I was 16. I spent four years at home working as a sales girl, saving for Uni, and helping my dad out with my salary sometimes.

Entered University, started side jobs while schooling. Editing people's novels for small fee. Working as a sales girl during ASUU strike and vacation.

In my third year, I got a steady job writing for a blog daily. My start pay was 25k monthly. With that I was able to pay my outstanding school fees, textbooks and final year clearance. Luckily it was during the free education period of 2013-2019.

Graduated last year. Since then, I've not had to apply for any job. Still doing that writing job (40k now) and also handling my own blog.

Hopefully by 2021 I'd have saved enough to leave Nigeria for masters.
You deserve a medal fah!
Bosslady, they say in some climes.

So i put my savings and i told him oga this is my savings o, i really want to do something for myself cos i saw prospect in it. Its over a year now d man cant account for the money. Since then I've been scared of getting into any bizness at all. Its not like im swimming in money for me to risk loosing it . i saved so badly while taking care of my other needs. It was so painful
I understand how painful it must have been...but you still need to try again....You'll live to tell tales of success in the years to come.

This is one of the best headlines I have ever come across in nairaland.
I finished my school at the age 23 served 23/24 and after my service last year,
I have been searching for a job. I made 2:1, but staying idle is beginning to make me forget what I studied in school, so I advice myself and I got some materials related to my field in other to keep my memory fresh, cos it will be very embarrassing if I go for interview and I fail to answer a simple question all because of staying long without being engaged. (God forbids!).
so far I thank God so much because despite being jobless for now, I have not been depressed. My next step is to storm schools in Abuja, immediately schools resume, cos the son of man must start something.
And I know my God won't fail,
Let me use this medium to encourage everyone out there, who is jobless to believe in God, because he that created you knows your future betterthan u,
and please while u are staying at home try to spend time with God, and learn more about life, Make plans concerning your life. Above all make the most out of this time, cos when work comes u may not see this time again.
God bless us all!.

I believe you must have gone through a whole lot for you to have this demeanor but bro you have come too far on the right honest path to turn back now.....remember the race is not for the swift....it takes favor and grace coupled with hardwork and prayers.....think bout this way that what of if money ritual doesn’t exist?plus,I don’t even know if it’s real,or how effective it is,what of if you do it and it didn’t work for you?with blood already on your hands?think about the dark and negative aftermath and the repercussions!

Aren’t there ordinary people out there making it without doing yahoo...do you so much Believe less in yourself that you can’t be a success without engaging in cyber crime how do you even know it’s all green on the other side when you don’t walk in their shoes and lastly what of if you start and you don’t make money from it?you don’t blow!you don’t cash out!you don’t pick!and you still end up getting arrested and convicted in the process just cos of your involvement it’s a highly probable scenario and it happens.....at the end,it would have been a wasted time and efforts and you would have been tainted, and have you image and name stained.......and all for what?for nothing bro!

You have got skills according to you especially IT skills which is the new black gold you can improve your skills and get more certifications and while taking on some tasks and jobs till the jobs gets bigger and start to pay more if your area or specialty isn’t well sought after why don’t you get trained and acquire skills in the most viable ones.....The World is yours Bro you only have to mould into your favorite shape and design you have got the tools already you only need to use and apply it rightly in a honest positive and productive way.

my dear the best thing for you to do is to acquire a skill instead of staying at home and waiting for a job. I know some people at after 18 years 10 years they haven't seen a job. sometimes even the job available pays a useless 50-60k, because of the state of the Economy. These days skills pay more than some corporate jobs. It's better to acquire apprenticeship skills such as Barbing, hair dressing, computer skills e.t.c because they require less capital and their Returns are very high and quick to recoup. or better still if you have the funds you can go into trading, while still applying for jobs so that you won't lose on both ends.

meanwhile at Emerald music we promote your gospel music, market and distribute it. we include your music to Gospel mixtapes, we do video shooting, TV and radio promotion if you want album we can do it for you contact me on thank you.

Let me talk my own, I started apprenticeship immediately after jss3, my uncle owns electronic and boutique business then, so those 10 years was like a wasted year because I was settled with peanut #50k which was not even enough to pay for agent fees for good business location, but God so kind, I have a lot of experience on Mobile gadget, during the era of ponzi scheme I made almost 600k and did not disclose it to anyone, that money later saved my life.
Today I have a boutique that gave me atleast 180k monthly profit.... Although this is just a year old.
My plan is to venture into mobile accessories... And I believe God will do it..

I haven't made it so far, but I know I am getting there.

I entered University in year 2014 to study an engineering course. I was working at a bakery then as side hustle to finance my education together with help from family.

in the year 2015 when we had our first semester break which usually lasts for just 2 weeks there about, I used to that period to learn the art of shoemaking. so to say, I spent just 2 weeks there ( thanks to my boss who taught me the basis)

Fast forward to 2019, August to be precise, I told my babe(a nairalander too) jokingly that I once learnt shoe making a few years back but she didn't believe; To make her believe, she dropped ₦500 and we went to the market to get some materials and I made a female pam slippers for her( it wasn't that nice but she appreciated it). Since then, we've been practising on different designs and we were getting better as the days go by.

Fast forward to February 1st to be precise, we're serving in Oyo State and we launched our small firm. We started making pams and sandals for our fellow corp members; I working essentially on the male part and she on the female. With time, we're making our name and extended our services to other people.in different strata of life.

Fast forward to yesterday, June 10, we tried our hands on simple female bag making and we realised it came out good, and we joined it with the pams and sandals we're doing.

We're not there yet but I know we're getting there.

I'm just using this medium to implore our youth to explore the handcraft aspect of the economy no matter how dirty/small/low-income it seems to be. Being your own boss can is second to none no matter the meagre amount you think you're earning.

make una pardon my incoherent use of words, I hope I passed my message.
