Hi. Thank you for doing this.
There's a group of us planning to settle in Ontario very soon, by God's grace. We are already at the tail end of the wait, hopefully VFS opens soon and we move. Since you asked us to suggest a date and time, we will not mind having this zoom meeting next Sunday, June 14th, at 6pm. Don't know what others here may suggest. Whatever date and time is finally picked will be fine. Once the link and final schedule is available, I will share it with the rest of the group.
I'm sure there are lots of questions we want to ask you. I will be posting some of them subsequently. Let me ask the group about this and revert.
Again, thank you!

PS: We wouldn't mind you joining us in the group as it was created to get landed folks to help us with much needed info, clarity, and advice. We already got it going and so far, it's been great. We hope to keep the momentum going and pay it forward to those coming behind us after we land too. Let me know what you think please.

Good job triplezero. Let's make it next Sunday, 21st of June 2020, by the grace of God.

Meanwhile, hopefully this Saturday, I'll do a Web scrapping of all the messages on my mention as regards this topic and try to answer them. I hope to dedicate the whole of this Saturday to that purpose.

In addition, I'll be sharing the link to the proposed zoom meeting this Saturday as well, and the plan I'm planning to subscribe to can only take 100 participants, which I think should be enough.

So, let's all look forward to this Saturday and next Sunday by God's grace.

Thank you all for having me.

Good morning everyone, so I just checked my IELTS I had LRWS 9,8.5,7,7. Is it advisable I apply for a remark for my speaking?

Pls can we use google meet instead of zoom since it can allow more people to join and its totally free, no time limit unlike Zoom.
Also anybody can join straight from the google meet website even without downloading the app.

Thanks.

Good morning all...
My first time commenting despite every day follow up.
Just got my IELTS result.
LRWS- 9, 8.5, 7, 8
I was super scared of writing because i did not have time to check for errors and was super nervous while writing. I even changed "Yours Faithfully" to "Yours Faithfuly" after convincing myself it is supposed to be single L. But i was confident of paraphrasing, answering all task, relevant examples and word count. I hope this helps everyone struggling with writing..make sure you have those four factors done successfully.
For Listening, practice with ieltsonline.com. i had done the whole part 4 word for word just 2days to the exam, so that is 10 questions with no hassles.
Above all, glory be to God for He is the One who did it.
I hope for favourable draw.
And success in all our canny journey.
Happy weekend everyone

Okay thanks, but is it possible to get a lower score. I’m kind of scared of remarking writing.

Getting a same name affidavit would do for this.

Just state all possible ways your name has been represented in the documents to be submitted.

Alright, thanks.

Hello All,
I had my COPR before March 18th but unfortunately because of the lockdown, we couldn’t travel and all subsequent efforts didn’t play out the way we wanted...Long story short, we have a new addition to our family and we raised cse...We are suppose to submit baby’s medical, application fee and international passport... But due to the lockdown, we can’t get pass port at the moment..Now my question is can we use the baby’s Official Birth cert to submit the online documentation while we r processing the passport

Congratulations on your new addition.
International passport is very important, it'll be needed. I think what you need now, is to ask folks for contact on quick international passport. You will pay plenty money for it o, but it's doable. Where are you located for starters? Someone might be able to link you up with an immigration officer

That's fine. Send a pm. Would be nice if we had more people though, so this can be maximized. We can come up with a convenient date.
I used to give tutorials here for free months ago. So, it'd be cool to do this again.
Help me too oga kiss

Your score will never go down. It would either remain how it is or change upwards. I'd advice u seek for a remark as ednut earlier advised cos u v nothing to lose, aside the funds you will spend.

If u v the funds, just give it a try.

No. It either stays unchanged or increases. I'd wager that speaking may increase by 0.5, just take a leap of faith sister and perhaps this mountain will move. smiley smiley wink

I can link you up to an immigration officer in Abk. For minors, it should cost about 30-35k including the fast track fee and the passport should be ready in few days. @femcold

Theres no best way to approach. If your school isn't working, Do you think there's anything anyone here could for you to get your verification?? You have no choice but to wait till you school starts working.

Chukwuemekatehi:
Please house, my Wes application has been stuck on verification for over 3 months now due to the Covid 19.

I don't know the best way to approach my school to send this stuff to the bcause they are not working.

Hello house, I’ve been trying to do my Wes payment since yesterday and it’s not going through. It just keeps saying “for international cars, please contact provider for assistance”. Dunno if it’s anything to do with the billing address but I provided correct info though. My card has been configured already and I’ve used it to pay on Amazon and AliExpress. Please kindly help.

Hi, I have similar issues I don’t know if I should continue the same way or fix it.

In my bsc certificate my name is written in the order Surname MiddleName FirstName which is a common mistake a lot of people make here in Nigeria.

In filling the wes form if I supply FirstName Middle Surname it will contain the 3names but in different arrangements which I don’t know if it will be a problem?

Or should I supply it with current arrangement in my certificate?

What do you advise?

Thanks.

How is your name arranged on your passport, i guess the proper way?
I think that should be your main concern. Because that is the arrangement u should use for filling wes registration form, in your degree filling part on wes, u can arrange it the way it is on your certificate, WES will sure report it this way. then later on in the EE process you can explain the wrong arrangement in LOE.

Seniors, help put mouth if i am wrong or right.
