I met an igbo Nigerian lady from there who speaks chinese. I recommended her to the Chinese company I'm working with and she was employed instantly with salary over 100k

But during this pandemic, my company called us all to Abuja head office from our various sites because it's an engineering firm. You wouldn't imagine, when i saw this my sister,she begin dey carry shoulder up for me o and even confronted me with fight and curses because i told her to print something for me, she said i talked to her rudely without respect. Since then she no even fit give her brother food for once especially during d lock down.

In this life....no too help women o...very ungrateful beings

Whether you like them or not China has arrived in terms of influence in our world today.

You lose absolutely nothing learning their language and a bit of their fundamental philosophy. So many international diplomats has the ability to speak many languages. It is an added advantage if you want to go global.

A lot people are in Nigeria today are learning all kinds of languages, German, Portuguese, French, Russia ,Italy and so many more.

Why? Because learning a language open doors.

Instead of breaking my head learning Russian language, I better learn mandarin and be sure

Our dominant spirit as Igbo's won't allow other people to dominate us in our own lands , if the Igbo's could be dominated it could have happened long ago by northerners cause 70% of Igbo's lived in the north before the civil war, people like azikewe were born in the north .

They are studying Igbo culture and language which is good, it doesn't mean that they should start practicing Igbo culture since they have their own culture neither are they supposed to be practicing Igbo culture/behaving/dressing and dancing like ndi Igbo because they have their own unique way of life/ culture unlike those Igbo's in that picture who were clearly imitating/behaving like Chinese. If they (Chinese) wants to bring there stuff down here, I will be expecting it to be something like Chinese institute of technology, Chinese institute of Agricultural science etc, and not this stuff they are doing here or in the picture that was posted by OP, besides who even tell the Chinese that we Ndi Igbo don't have any Culture inwhich the Chinese choose this stuff in place of all other stuff that Chinese are know for eg Chinese Technological Advancement instead what they (Chinese) choose to bring down here is this stuff I'm seeing in the OP picture, something that will further damage what ever will be left of our culture after the damages been done to our culture by westernization. I don't have any problem with Chinese infact I'm a fan of Chinese martial art/Confusius/ movies, more of what I'm saying is if we are going to be welcoming other people's culture in Igbo land let be in a right direction by using it to compliment/boost our way of life to a right direction eg a look at Ethiopian Culture and Christianity how the two compliment each other which gives us the Ethiopian Christian Orthodox. By welcoming other people's culture through the wrong direction inwhich left uncheck in future it will start unleashing havock and damages to our Igbo culture.

As long as they are not going to colonize us, nothing is wrong with this.
