Please, can anyone, who has applied to TUM, help send link to prepare Essay required by the school...

I've seen the form on TUM site. Thank you.
arch111:

Uni Assist is supposed to send you the VPD if they are done processing it. For TUM application, they have a document that you can fill and upload to show that you have applied for a VPD. You can get that in their site. Just navigate well.

Should in case visa got denied or one couldn't get appointment date like in my case and you decided to forget about Germany and focus your energy on another country, in such case you will want to get your money block account money back and it's take time to get the money even with Fintiba which seems to be the fastest German bank not to talk of other German banks which will even take longer because they will request for series of documents.

It took me one month and few days to get my money back, and I got it back without providing visa refusal letter. So why would you fund your block account and go to so much stress if you eventually need to get your money back due to one reason or the other.

Please don't fund your block account without having appointment date for your own good. If you have appointment date and you need to find your block account, with Fintiba it will take you less than two weeks for the money to reflect in your German account

What is the probability that someone who gets an appointment date will be rejected? If rejected, will he/she easily get the money back in Nigeria without much stress or u advice the person to apply for another interview date

Also, how do I easily fund a block account easily without stress since I don't reside in lagos or other mega cities

I hope this school we apply to can be like the schools in UK.
I applied to 2 schools already and have been getting update about UK VISA since the day they gave me conditional admission letter.

Infact the 2 schools still message me today giving me assurance that they will secure the VISA for me that they are working with the VISA body to ensure that international student get VISA.

UK already lost several thousands of students' applications due to BREXIT, Government policy of LEAVE AFTER STUDY(although they have increased it to two years stay after study) and rigorous Visa process, hence, it is relatively easier to gain admission if you meet their requirements and have the money. Attention has shifted to other countries with free education and easier visa process like Germany, Sweden, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Portugal etc. This is why Germany is having the highest number of applications in Europe in the last 2 to 3 years. You should expect tougher admission and visa processes compared with the previous years.

However, you can still get to Germany if you follow the instructions and experiences of others on this platform.

This is the classic case of misinformation at its best.

If the U.K increased it to 2yrs how many years will you be given in Germany?

Did I hear you say that tier4 visa processing is rigorous ? Then German one will be a trip to hell and back.

As of 2019, students who start a study program in the UK are entitled up to 2years (24months) poststudy work search in the UK unlike the previous 4months duration and in Germany, students are currently only allowed 18 months of poststudy work search.

1. This is the classic case of misinformation at its best.

2. If the U.K increased it to 2yrs how many years will you be given in Germany?

3. Did I hear you say that tier4 visa processing is rigorous ? Then German one will be a trip to hell and back.

ANSWER

1. How?

2. Germany gives 18 months post-study work permit.

3. Until last three years when Germany student visa became a little bit strenuous, the requirements are far easier to meet than UK Tier4 Visa. The major requirements are: admission letter, blocked account or sponsorship letter, insurance etc. There was a person who got student visa to Germany without blocked account nor sponsorship letter but promised to do it later. This won't happen in UK embassy. The interview process at German embassy is relatively better compared with UK. The current increase in the number of students going to Germany has made the process of getting appointment date in Nigeria harder; since USA, Canada, UK and Australia have tougher visa processes than Germany.

UK Tier4 Visa is only going to be a little bit easier because of students who are looking to other countries with free education compared with UK. Theresa May's policy of LEAVE AFTER STUDY has badly affected students who had the intention of stay back. But Boris Johnson corrected it immediately he assumed office since they were loosing money gained from tuition fees and the impact of BREXIT.

UK is "money for hand back for ground". While Germany majorly required the block account after other normal requirements.

You claimed that you knew only one person who got a visa without presenting any financial evidence and you used that as an example of how German easy its to get a visa? Is that a standard?

The UK admission and visa processing is the easiest, more straightforward and quicker compare to German, USA or Canada.

You can get the UK student visa in 24hrs without interview and if you got an admission in certain universities you are exempted from submitting financial evidence.

Yes it cost more to study in the UK because you have to pay tuition fees but the admission and visa process are a lot better compare to Germany

U are right.
Current UK student visa requirements stipulate that you must have at least £1,015 (~US$1,435) in your bank account for each month you plan to stay in the UK anywhere outside of London.

This doesn’t include the tuition fees oo.

UK APPLICATION IS ONLY EASY FOR PEOPLE THAT HAS MONEY!!!

Good morning house. Please I have some questions.

1. About Filling the Visa form Category A: one of the requirement is that...

holding a bachelor's degree with a grade of 1. Class ONLY issued AFTER January 1st, 2018 and being accepted for a master's degree (also a DSH course-related admission to the master's program) or PhD study in Germany.

The 1.Class, does it mean one's CGPA after been converted into Germany grading scale must be between 1.0-1.99(not up to 2.0) or one's graduating grade in Nigeria must just be a 1st class result?

2. Has anyone had his/her Interview in in Abuja Embassy (Master) before? Cus it was written on the website that Abuja Embassy is only for Masters and PhD Visa processing.
