Wow! Just seeing this. Soursops are expensive here too but not as your place there. I bought 2 for#500. I haven't been privileged to even seen it's tree before, so I don't know much about it's leaves, I wish I can because I love to experient with herbs. I love herbs. I'm born to be a veggie. Next time I go fruits and vegetables shopping, I'll definitely ask for it from those vegetable sellers.

Thanks sis.

You're welcome.

Soursop leaves are very beneficial to health also. You might want to check online to know more about it.

Your reply updated our thread for today cheesy
What fruits did you have today?

Here I am again. Greetings to everyone. Eat fruits daily. As for me, I don't play with my fruits o. I've taken watermelon this morning before heading to fruits market, came back to have some munching on some carrots.

Some of the fruits I got today. Mango seems to be going out of season but I still tried to get some.
Soursops are just too expensive, could only buy two. Watermelon still cheap, got some too and some others. Fruits ain't as expensive as some thought. Take some today and enjoy the benefits.

Awesome! Thank you so much. smiley

Wow!
I do that sometimes as well.
For mine, I just bring the pineapple peel to a boil, then add one black tea bag and let it infuse, sieve and chill. Voilà! A healthy drink. cheesy
Thanks for your update. kiss

Sorry, explain this procedure, and what do you mean by "bring to a boil"?

Also, what's the obsession with mango. I don't like them due to the fact that they make one look sloppy while taking them, as in the liquid in it starts dripping, which isn't neat

Miriangeles, the Zobo drink left me constipated, how is this possible?

To make your healthy pineapple peel tea, first you wash pineapple very well before peeling, then you put your clean pineapple peel into a clean pot, add about 1ltr of water, and about half a thumbsize of ginger, and let it boil.
There are other medicinal stuff you can add to your pineapple peel tea, depends on how you want it.

It's okay if you don't enjoy mangoes, as there are so many other fruits and vegetables to choose from.

It could be that you had to much of it, or you're allergic to it. Not all good things are good for everyone.
You can try other options of healthy drinks like the pineapple peel/ginger drink. Lemongrass/pineapple drink is another good option.
Always opt for something that makes you feel good afterwards.

My fruits today are bananas, watermelon, pineapple and cucumbers.

Today being Saturday, I usually take only fruits as my meals for both breakfast and lunch, staple food for only dinner.

Advantages......it detoxifies. It keeps me fit. Makes me feel lighter. Enhances easy digestion.

Keep on enjoying your weekend with fruits.

Thanks for the explanation, ma. Please, do I seive after the boiling? What's the sign that it's ready, while boiling? Can it be stored, say in a container in the fridge?

Sorry for the questions

If it's for just one day of the week, I think that is OK. You could even see it as environmental sanitation grin

Do you know that with that amount, you can also eat 2wraps of fufu or eba with vegetable soup, then 2oranges and an apple (or a slice of pineapple or watermelon) to aid your digestion and nutrients absorption? smiley

Yes, I've heard about it but I usually prefer ordinary water to warm water and I'm not even consistent with it. It usually makes me visit rest room too often and I wouldn't like that type of thing happening while I'm at work.

Good day my people. Hope you are aware of the health benefits of taking fruits. As the saying goes....an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Not only apples but every fruit. All fruits are packed with numerous health benefits. Take fruits daily and your body will appreciate it.

I forgot to update yesterday. The fruits taken today are the same with the ones taken yesterday, they're watermelon, cucumbers and oranges.
