For me, price was not really a factor but it wasn't worth it. Several reasons for them being pointless in my opinion are,

1. Little to no performance benefits for the price: Why buy a gaming phone when you can buy a flagship killer that has the same performance?

2. Aesthetics: Pleasing for gamers, and no one else.

3. Display: The first Razer phone was wowed for its 120Hz display but now high RR is now common in midrangers so it's not a big deal anymore.

4. Cameras: Most gaming device are tuned for performance only and when you want to use it for anything but, they're severely limited especially in the camera department.

5. Accessories: Initially severally enthusiasts made a case for the extra accessories like shoulder triggers or controllers, but since Dual shock 4 controllers are now paired seamlessly with Android their purposes seems bizzare.

NB: The Asus Rog Phone II is an amazing device with a lot of accessories however the base device is about $600 and if you want all those fancy accessories you need to buy the Tecent Edition for about $1400

PS: Prices are taken at launch should vary accordingly

This is very true. I've always wondered why person go carry money buy gaming phone; phone wey cam na nonsense

Force restart your phone randomly and if it continues flash the full ROM, that's how I updated. I don't do OTA

It depends on your location. Getting the most stable network should be your starting point

Depends on which telecom network is best in your neighborhood.

If it's glo, I know someone who subs N300 and get 1.5gb of data per week. This is a pretty cool deal

Comparison between

1. XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 8 PRO vs XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 9S

2. XIAOMI REDMI NOT E 8 PRO Vs. XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 9 PRO

VERDICT: NOTE 8 PRO IS A BEAST

Versus again? Notebookcheck is better in comparisons just an advice.

Sadly some things in that comparisons don't stand considering our market.

First of all only China gets 256GB for RN8 Pro and RN9 Pro don't have a Chinese Version to begin with. I can point out other disparities sha.

But we don say no need for baseless arguments and I won't fall for this sha.

Dial *777# to checkout their data plans. Gone are the days when glo offers every sim not older than 3 months 100% data.

I use MTN though, I had to discard my sim for more than 30 days, now I enjoy 100% data bonus
