Rn9s has a better battery and a more power-efficient soc. It would also support various gcam and custom rom ports.


It would also play emulated games better than the rn8pro if that's what you would be interested in.

enjoy your device man. You don't need to search desperately for reasons to stick with your phone. The RN8 pro is a solid device and hasn't even been around up to a year. Some people are still using the RN4 (and RN5) and don't plan to upgrade yet.

The RN9 pro is a definite upgrade on the RN8 pro though. Small improvements in many areas that go beyond just SD 720G vs Helio G90T.

It shouldn't be any lesser! It has a very big battery plus power efficient chipset

it's true my comparison is just to ease off my disappointment. I actually bought my Note 8 pro last Wednesday, my intention was to buy the note 9s or even a 9Pro but the device wasn't available. I went to all the big tech shops in Benin including Slot and only note 8 pro was available with no assurance of any incoming shipment. I finally bought it for 96k 6g64. Later on Friday the sales rep I collected number from posted on her status on the arrival of the Note 9s. I was very angry and the 9s was ever cheaper than the N8pro . How wish I waited a little longer cus i like phones that are current.

If it's any consolation, Xiaomi will probably announce a new Redmi Line up by September so the Redmi Note 9s/pro will be outdated by then. Phones get outdated quickly these days that if you want to keep up with the trend you'll probably be buying new phones every 3 to 6 months.
Just hold on to your Note 8 pro it's a very good phone.

I know how you feel. I bought my RN8 pro recently also. Don't be quick to follow the trend. RN8 pro is a beast on its own lane. If you'd like to change, wait till the RN10x are out, then that would be a big step up the trend

I know how it feels tho..But, the Note 8 pro isn't a bad one too..It's a beast on it's own like you said..

Just enjoy it as it is and when the time comes, you can upgrade to a better one.. All na same bro..
