There was this day at my office, a colleague who does not like to use face mask and even detest those using the mask, had to run pick her face mask when a visitor entered our office to make an enquiry but the first thing the visitor did at the door was to sneeze into our office, an averagely aged person for that matter.

It was so funny that day because the speed at which she used in wearing the mask that day was superb.

Truth is, the people who are acting as if there's no COVID-19 again are actually the most scared of the virus.

Went out with a new catch that came to spend the night. We decided to stroll within the area. Unfortunately, we got stopped by some mean looking Mopols. Too bad I wasn't putting on or have a nose mask on me. And to think that this babe told me to pick it up when we were leaving the house, I refused. I was proving stubbornness.

To cut the short story short, the Mopols made me seat on the ground right in front of my new babe...this was after several kobokos on my back.

And the most annoying thing was that most of the Mopols weren't putting on a nose mask.

Another embarrassing moment was when I went to a bank to do some transactions. This was when the corona was beginning to get serious.

On the Queue, it got to my turn to enter the bank, the security guy placed the device for testing of covid 19 symptoms on my head and the device just started ringing out loud.

Be for you mentioned Jack Robinson, everyone in the queue disappeared, even the security guy.

I just jejely withdraw from the queue and went back home, got some malaria drugs and isolated myself.

So that was how I accidentally forgot my face mask at home and went to get fuel in the junction. Nna eh, na so I see people dey run, I just stood there looking for any possible reason to cling to and run myself. Truth was I no hold shingba that day, not that I was broke; I was in pieces.
.
O boy see black maria everywhere picking people on gunpoint for not wearing face masks (with soldiers koboko-ing gullible ones too). I was later told that people caught would be frustrated and pay big (that day was weekend) so they wouldn't want to sleep in cell till workday.
.
I remembered I wasn't with any. Chai, worst was I went to by 50 litres of fuel in a very porshe dressing. Cute guy me. Na that day I know say fifty litres of fuel and water no be the same.
.
I carry gallon run till the sweat wey comot for my body don soak my shoe, come dey comot footprint.
.

Las las, I reach bush path. You know the rest. In fact, plenty people just enter that bush path. I never knew bush could be quite adventurous to locate my house. Wetin weak me pass na say I go match person poo for bush covered with akwukwo ede. Such a black day for me.
.
I reach home, na that day Adanne know say she go invite all her school mates for house. Come see me see how I bone.
50litres of fuel is actually lighter than 50 liters of water

On two occasions I was sick and in my head I was like this could be it . On one of the occasions I said let me wait for 2 weeks and see if the symptoms will show.

At one time we're I stay there was Corona virus scare. One woman was rumored to have it and she came from Kano. The ncdc came for her in their full regalia. Immediately people sighted them there was pandemonium cause the woman was living close to the market. The area was codoned off for two weeks by ncdc officials.

Close to were I stay some white people that were working in a particular company came to buy something in the market.ordinarily people will want them to buy from them but as they came to table of the first woman , she left her wares and ran for life, the neighbours followed suite and before long the market was in chaos

So during the main lockdown that lasted weeks my friend had a visitor guy, We had all been having fun while self isolating too. So on one of those days around 8:40pm the visitor started shaking severely, I heard my name after trying to figure out where the noise was coming from though i didn't want to approach at first when I rushed to their room but on a second thought of if its covid we all were already affected too because we have been together all along but then he was breathing well enough so no cause for alarm we carried him to the car zoomed.

We needed to take him to the hospital and on our way Nigeria Police stopped us and with their normal queries we explained to them even though they have eyes, but to our outmost dismay they said we are going to pay 10k for them to allow us to pass or we are all going to the station.

I refused stood my grounds that there is an emergency and we are not going to bribe them because they can actually see for themselves, after delaying us and with much threat to them. They finally agreed to take us to their Oga at the station we said fine and good. We got to the station and they refused us to enter inside(they probably don't want to die if its actually covid) we had to wait for them in the car outside of course with 2 of them mounting guard on us.

These armed robbers in uniform delayed us and after close to an hour which we became furious and started banging on their gate they came out and asked us to go, like seriously?? They purposely wasted our time because we didn't give them money. Oh Nigeria!!!

Well we later got to the hospital and he was admitted and given drip then he became stable. He got better though and was discharged 2days later. Glory to God.

After the lockdown was eased we drove back to the station and requested to see the DPO and after narrating what happened he apologized, what else can he do or would have done. After all our friend is fine so we just bounced.

Naija police, even in life and death situation dem still want collect bribe, I tire for this country

Mine wasn't embarrassing in that sense but the way it happened still baffles me...I was playing with my little nephews and we decided to run in the compound...I ended up running into the wall of the house and broke two teeth - two incisors. Nothing else happened to me, just my teeth cry

After d first phase of d lockdown, reality begins to set in, I decided to sell off my generator as there was no even money to fuel it. Searched for a buyer, na so dem just dey laugh me.. Some say, shey person wey never chop na him go buy gen while some dey price d gen 15k.. This was a gen i bought 50k+.. Finally, i gave up selling d gen..

D second embarrasment happened to one of my friend... Niggur went to a nearby house, a well to do man's house sha.. See people full everywhere, mostly women waiting on the queue for 1paint of rice, garri, noodles among others stuffs..I was standing afar from there because am really a shy type and i can't afford to be in dat type of environment, so i stayed far..
Unfortunately, a guy passed by who knew my friend, d guy just screamed his name,As my niggur look back.. O boi, see eyes wey set on him as if na him be d only guy for queue, na so guy begin dey look floor oo.. Laugh no gree me hold.. Unfortunately there was a girl diz guy has been chasing on d queue too.. Mehn! it was really an embarrassing moment for him
