There are two types of trading.
Stuck trading and stock trading.
When you trade companies like Japaul,Abc trans, you are trading stucks. They don't care about your criticism but later fvck blood out of your nyash.

I have learnt not to trade stucks but stocks.

TLAX:
Since early 2018, NSE has largely diverged from NYSE and S&P 500 (and other major markets i believe). In March 2020 almost all exchanges in the world took same pattern because of twin factors of COVID 19 and global oil prices. However, it appears that the divergence between NSE and at least NYSE/S&P 500 has resumed. Something concrete and unique needs to move NSE away from being flat or declining and it wont be the stimulus package announced in USA or Europe. There are still many issues holding the index down. I believe at best it would recover to January 2020 level and trade flat till there is concrete regulatory action to attract that stimulus money.....or some other action that nobody can predict for now.

For now I hope for the best but prepare for any eventuality. For those traders (not long term folks) who bought the dip in March 2020, I just think its wise to take some profits now. If eventually prices shoot up, folks will be in quick order to use cash and catch it as it goes up. It it doesn't, you wont loose much. You can also watch out for that one or two maverick stocks that will make folks laugh to the bank between now and December.

***Not an advisory. Just my random thoughts.

As much as NSE has diverged from the other indices, it still has thesame signature with NYSE, riding and falling about thesame time.

They worst is they hardly reply mails

Risk - Reward Management 101 lipsrsealed

Regarding JIJO, I have come to realize that if a sustainable system is used it can be very rewarding (maybe undecided ). Even a 1.5x risk reward ratio with 30% accuracy can yield cool returns( not really undecided ). A lot of people here do better sef ( ).

To prove a point;

1.5x means risking a portion of capital to return 1.5 times that portion. Eg. go in a trade with 1 million and risk 100k (@ stop-loss 10% of capital) for a target gain of 150k. (1.5x is terrible but I still used it as case study.)

While 30% accuracy would mean being right at least 30% of the time. (30% is very poor but I still used it as case study.)

With this set up, the expected value would be (0.3 x 1.5) - (0.7 x 1) = 0.15 (0.15x)

Thus, 1mil capital, 100k risk caped and potential reward of 150k or higher with 30% accuracy should return 15k ( depressing embarassed ) on average per trade. I am pretty sure some people here can do much better. Oga Loco and Madam Mcy56 comes to mind. grin

Requires stocks with good liquidity, moderate volatility and a solid strategy.

Note: 15k is just 1.5% of capital and still be a loss given brokerage charges. At about 2x and 40% hit rate is breakeven . May not be sustainable as a business sha except u are good at it.

Pro status could be 2x at 80% shocked .

Between end of August and mid September.

UBA, GTB and Access will also pay their interim dividends during this period

You want to increase share capital by 60billion with option of share construction

Useless Gold-digger grin grin grin

Are you sure you are not trapped in this stock?

Jegede should buy out shareholders, delist the company or he should sell the remaining assets of the companies and share the proceeds with the shareholders.

If the company is liquidated shareholders should be able to get 50k per share. Which will cost the current about N3 billion

I will advise you open a Stockbroking account for your father with his bank account and BVN.

Then tell the Broker to help him process his unclaimed dividends into his account

Broker will charge you a token, but it is easier that way.

I think you can approach the registrars of the company they would have such detail. Or I believe you have gotten dividend by mail before? The share holder's account number is on the dividend warrant if you still have any.
Find below the Sec site for unclaimed dividend if you had any, type ur name in the place provided, the account number is the first column. https://sec.gov.ng/non-mandated/ hope you find this helpful
Thanks for yesterday's response. After typing my name and surname ,it brought my details,i then try my late father's name and saw his own too. How can i claim my father's dividend. I only have his death certificate. I could not get the share certificate. Number 2,please i've downloaded the e-dividend form, what document should i take along to my bank as the registrar's address is very far from where i'm staying?

Oga if your father is late, you will need a Letter of Administration to get his shares and dividends.

Good day, to your first question,
Are you the next of kin of the deceased? If you are, then you need lawyer to do a transmission of shares through a probate registry( this happens when the shares of a deceased shareholder are inherited or bequeathed to an heir or personal representative of the deceased shareholder. It takes place in case of death or insanity) I don't know the charges but claiming a deceased share is not so easy.
For your second question, you liase with your broker since the Certificate was not dematerialized( conversion from paper to electronic balance). Just provide your broker with the share holder's account details he would process all these for a fee.
