I was moved to tears watching the guys video.

In a sane country, every Nigerian if good standing who truly cares about the country would be hitting the streets to protest this young patriotic soldier's arrest. The rank and file of the military who are in the majority and whom this young man is risking his life to speak up against should have risen up in defense of him to chase the coward cabals who are in the minority away from the country.

Things have really gone awry in Nigeria but running away isn't the answer. Running away is simply like postponing judgment day.

This young soldier cry mirrors what influenced my creating this thread.

He should simply have resigned instead this death sentence he foolishly placed on himself and family.

That's why anyone who wants to join army because 'They have nice unifroms' should be advised to think again.

There is no such thing as human rights in the Army. Obey before complain. If there are issues with the quality of service, it is the job of us civillians to fix it by voting in the right kind of leaders, and putting pressure on them to do the right things after they have been voted in.

It is going to affect Nigerians on the long run it is going to affect the morale, the confidence, the enthusiasm and discipline of other officers. It affects the espirit de corp of other officers,

Soldiers should refrain from coming out on social media to complain. They are not supposed to be doing that

Honestly the guy is a wise fool. He doesn't even need to resign. If he is fed up with the job, he can just desert quietly instead of been used as scapegoat. The same people who were clapping for him when he posted the video will be no where to be found when Army wants to punish him.
