About one of your latest posts, I also had a TRV application some time ago that didn't go through. There I didn't include a work experience ( I have a registered E-commerce business where I'm one of the directors and we have a website) because as at the TRV application, the e-commerce business was just some months old.

Now my spouse and I are getting ready to enter the pool but I won't be the primary applicant so my work experience will go to work history.

Do you think I should include my position in the e-commerce business in my work history? It's a side hustle so the date will also over lap with my regular job too.

Please how do I handle this?
Thanks

What Amaya said.

Non canadian work experience from spouse of PA does not add any points, so all work experience for spouse can/should be updated in personal history.

If you are concerned that it was not on a TRV, then do a one line LOE to explain.

Guys, CIIN is responding. So if you have been pursuing them for a response, keep on.

Again, ATS, ACCA, CIMA and BCS etc are all alternative. Unilag diploma and NOUN too. Anyone that has your interest based on easiness, cost and time elapse.
I Intended going to their office next week but I am interested in how responsive their mail are or was it a phone contact you made?
Already registered on the site.

It's better to evaluate both your Bachelor and Master degree.

Hello Opeyemi2012,

Its advised to only evaluate the highest degree. This saves time, stress and cost. BTW not all information on quora are well-articulated.

All the best

when you see some comments from the so called immigration lawyer you go weak. so many false and misleading posts. Evaluating both most times takes time if with WES due to Nigerian factor. so best to evaluate master unless one needs the BSC evaluation for licencing in canada.

Thanks bro. I get it now. I'll contact WES to exclude evaluation of my BSc.

Good Morning Everyone, putting this info out for pre-ECA candidates with a degree from Unilag that they want to evaluate. I hope this information helps, you can PM me if you need further clarifications.

PS/Disclaimer: I do not work in Unilag and this is only based on my personal experience when I was in the ECA process.

As far as I know, Unilag does not engage the services of ETX-NG so you have to apply for your transcript via the records portal- records.unilag.edu.ng

* Click on new application/track applications
* Tick the box for the program you wish to evaluate and select unique destination
* Document Type is Transcript
* Destination is North American Countries
* Dispatch method is courier service (private)
* Enter WES Address
* Click on proceed and pay online

If you have a contact, follow up with prayers and supplication for speedy processing

If you are yet to receive your certificate from Unilag, follow the steps above and repeat steps but request for your statement of result to be sent to your address. It’s this SOR that will be sent to WES in place of your certificate. This is important because WES will only complete your ECA when they verify your SOR and transcript from the University of Lagos

It’s also important to note that even if you pay for courier for your SOR, you’ll need to pick it up yourself as the courier fee is a joke to Unilag, they will not send your result via courier to you.

Also remember to be prayerful cos Unilag can give you serious headache during the wait period but with God everything is possible.

God who did for everyone here will complete yours too and we will all testify.
you are doing well bro....God bless you.

Sorry pls,
Does WES require your maiden name at the point of applying for ECA? Or did you apply with your marriage name and sent the affidavit along with Certificate/transcript?
i

I will like to know too. Is the affidavit the one news paper brought out or I have to go to court.

Hi all,

Please I've seen people confirm ghost updates on their profile, but i've noticed any ghost update. All i've noticed is the progress bar move up gradually.

Please can someone confirm if this progress bar is a new feature on the IRCC website? or i'm not being vigilant enough.

Thank you.

its just a mathematical equation. has no impact on your actual processing which is dependent on the Visa office ,visa officer or your documents

My question is has any one evaluated their BSc and NSE and gotten a 2certificate or more evaluation from any of the evaluating bodies

Best to use WES contact form on their website and inform them of the changes you want to make. They will advice you accordingly.

This applicant was a provincial nominee (SINP)... NOC ref letter did not contain roles and responsibilities.

For PNP guys after satisfying the province, pls remember to satisfy IRCC requirements too.

Sorry to be a busybody and party pooper...you may want to check this out before you make a final decision.

If you choose an NOC that is NOT 3111 or 3112 WES will work, otherwise...

For those of us that are pre ITA or post ITA and about to submit our applications. It will be good to note and submit the required documents EXACTLY as per IRCC. See rejection case below (NOC related rejection).

This is very serious... Thanks for sharing!

This one had a directorship on his LinkedIn profile that he didn't declare. When IRCC asked him about it, he tried to deny it.

Pls how do you think this apply to an accompanying spouse who is a serial entrepreneur but is only including his longest career in his profile when he has like 2 or 3 other businesses he has interests or is involved and they are all part of what he has on his linkedin?

Thanks. Can I request WES to stop the evaluation of my BSC to avoid delays?
Yes if you know it gonna be a drag. But we have been shouting about it. If you have M.Sc that's it. You won't get more points assessing B.Sc but I don't know unless you just have to or for no reason actually.

Non Canadian work experience from spouse carries zero points & so does not count for work history....put it ALL in personal history after ITA.
