That's death personified. Bad tempered snake.

It has one of the longest fangs in the snake kingdom and it's not known to give dry (venomless) bites.

One bite, 30 minutes drive to the world beyond.

But will it still bite even when left on it's own?
As I heard snakes seldom bite when not agitated...

They'll infact run from you on seeing you, and will only bite in self-defence when there's no escape route....

The gaboon is better in that regard. I can't say the same for the black mamba of southern africa and the Russell's viper of India.

Am just admiring the artistic work on the snake's skin.

Skin it and keep the hide. It is beautiful.

Seeing the beautiful pattern on that snake makes me conclude that God is a Super artist!
