Honestly a lot of Nigerian politicians have deep mental problem. What do you want to use this useless big house for? Can you imagine how much it took to build such a house especially on the cliff side and on a hill? Yet pensioners were dying of hunger. Ajimobi even had the guts to call them dead. Well he’s dead now.

It will never be well with Ajimobi and his useless wife. Shame and disgrace will be theirs. House that will be destroyed when you die, who can maintain this big nonsense that looks like a cube. Waste of resources and waste of money. Lack of empathy and common sense. Stupid people.

You only get to see this in Hollywood movies.

If the judgement favours the family with the major provider dead, will this not end up as another abandoned project, can the wife and kids bring forward the resources to complete the house ?

They were pursue federal favor be it appointment or contracts and continue to embezzle to fund a lifestyle they can't sustain through honest sweat.

Is there anyone of those politicians who doesn't have a house at Agodi GRA? Since 1999, I can only vouch for the late Lam Adesina. Almost all the other governors including Seyi Makinde has a mansion there. We don't have a crop of politicians who are entirely free from corruption but meanwhile, the mansion in question is a case still in court and there's been no official report it was acquired as a loot but don't be deceived, Agodi GRA, Oluyole, Bodija and Samonda are choice places for these elites and power is just a way of cementing that choice. Take a stroll around these areas and see some of the houses deserted and unoccupied. It's the type of democracy we practice here.

You can't add Seyi cos he must had it before going government.

that's the word...mall-looking house. House maintenance isn't cheap man, not even a mansion of that capacity. That was one of the reasons i refused to go with my friends to lekki. I wish a brave youth could rise up and end the regime of these old fellas once and for all who keep deceiving Nigerians that youths are the leaders of tomorrow but have refused to leave the political arena. Both the APC and the PDP are the same...apc is even worse off and disappointing with all these we are seeing them do from bauchi to zamfaraand now oyo. I wonder what others still in power would do by the time they leave office . What have they now done differently from the PDP? Where's the change now? It's well.
There is no once and for all.
History has taught us multiple time that a society cannot give
what it doesn't possess. Even with violent uprising, the outcome
will be different kind of players but the game remains the same.

They full Lekki too. There is this one sharing fence with my house, some “elements“ have made it their abode. The gate and whole property is locked, so they use ladder to climb over the fence and sleep in the gateman’s cube- the only unlocked part of the property.

I think it's unfair to think Ajimobi wasn't rich enough to acquire this property. You even said he's not an investor or a businessman. Do you know him personally to say that?

Ajimobi was an MD/CEO of a major oil and gas company in Nigeria at the peak of his career. I'm not talking about this kwe kwe oil companies out there. He was MD of a MAJOR oil and gas company. Google it to confirm.

Since leaving his position as MD, as he being playing around and not managing his wealth?
I'm not here to defend him, just to set the records straight.

Our political bias shouldn't becloud our sense of reasoning. This info is out there too. It wasn't manufactured. You can Google it.

fairfora:
When Governor Makinde took office, he was said to have discovered massive fraud perpetrated by his predecessor's government and called for an in-depth investigation. One of the Late Ajimobi's assets under investigation is the Agodi 's Mansion. Here's the video of the Mansion( below).

I wonder what the man still wanted at 70. Our politicians are super greedy. Awaye malo kan ko si...which literally means everyone born of man must die, wondering why they still keep amassing so much even at old age as if they would live forever. This man wasn't an investor, neither was he a businessman. The money used belongs to the Oyo People. This was one of the reasons the party's supporters never liked what makinde is doing to their man.
