Gafaru street has always been like this for a very long time now. The roads are dilapidated and not motorable. I lived there for more than 15years and there was actually no sign of seeing the entrance of the state government coming to that area by fixing the road. Ijegun road was worst off before the then governor of the state and national leader of the All Progressive Congress(APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu bailed us out by fixing the road leading to Ikotun and other environs. but Gafaru has been begging for attention for a long time and it doesn't look like the government is ready to do anything about it.

And the people in that area in their wisdom have been voting the same party almost 100℅ at every election

Roads like this within the streets are what functional and viable local governments should be able to construct and maintain.

With the resources available to Lagos, a handful of their roads should be in concrete not even asphalt.

APC don't deserve to rule Lagos again by 2023. Lagosians need to try another party, but definitely not PDP because PDP is the twin brother of APC.

That's not a road, it's an island.

Just as Nigeria is the sick Giant of Africa or what my francophony brothers call l'e giante malade, Lagos is the sick mega city of the world.

And there are still many more roads like this in Lagos.

Since Lagosians themselves say they prefer a governor who will use State resources to service the pockets of stake holders in the party (like Sanwo-olu), rather than the governor who will build infrastructures in the State and make it at par with a true mega city that it should be (like Ambode and the Oshodi bus terminus), who am I to complain?
