Preator:
My CRV 08 instrument display panel started going haywire last week. Took it to a rewire but the guy said he doesn't understand what is wrong. He checked all the fuse (supposedly) and said they are all fine. Now i can read my fuel guage, engine temp etc. Pix attached. Please come to my aid.

Your mechanic is talking in the nonsense.
Your oil spec is written on your oil cap, should be Synthetic 5W20
just bought Honda civil 2006 and is naija use. Can I can stick to recommended engine oil of 5w20 or should continue with 20w50 the former owner is using before. Thanks.

Do you have any oil light showing on your dashboard while driving?

Is the car cranking at all or just will not start?

Could be timing belt or a failed oil pump.

Can equally do a scan.
No oil light showing on the dash
It's cranking and even driving just that it won't idle
just changed timing belt too

If you can, yes but shift to 5W30 & do a back-to-back oil change to prevent oil burn.

Good afternoon,

I have a Acura MDX 2008. Today I noticed that the AC on the driver's side is not as cold as the AC blowing out of the passenger side, both front and rear.

Could anyone help out with what could be wrong.

Thanks.

Pls house, I need help. My 2008 Honda Pilot is giving a whistling /cracking sound when I turn the steering. I noticed the sound last 2 weeks sunday when I wanted to go out. However throughout the working days I didn't use it. Again yesterday, Sunday, when I on the engine and turning the steering,to move, the sound came up. But when I'm driving on the road, I'll not notice the sound.
What could be the problem? I need your advice on what next.
Thanks

Is there a way I can check this?

Also, Is this something I can do myself and which refrigerant would you recommend.

Thanks smiley

I did some Google searches. I think this article might help, guys, https://naijauto.com/car-maintenance/tips-on-how-to-maintain-used-honda-accord-3298
Let me point out some interesting tips from this article:
- For every 45,000 miles (72,420 kilometres) you go, endeavour to replace the brake fluid and coolant.
- For every 30,000 miles (49,000 kilometers) you have to check the drive belts.
- Every 8,000 kilometers your car goes (which is about 5,000 miles), add more fluids in their necessary places, check your brakes, tyres and change your filter after.
- As for the transmission fluid, you can change it after every 90,000 miles (150,000 kilometers).
- Know your main codes and sub codes to diagnose the problems.
- Routine servicing: it's important that you take your Honda for routine checks after every 5,000 miles.
- Keep it clean because it's how you maintain its value.
