Pls how can I explain 3million(credit boost from my boss) transferred into my account today when I intend to submit my application in 5days . The only history of such large sum in my account was 6million that I transferred and converted into a fixed deposit in February. I now have a closing balance of N9.3million. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot all in the name of proving financial stability.. Cc: @Frankrobbn1, @Justwise, @Justmellow . Pls I really need your input on this too. Thanks.

U are welcome......

Yes u can.,
Since u had a B.SC already in a related Program,
this program u wanna pursue in Canada should be a PGD/PGD level (if u have a 2.2 or 3rd Class) I.e Post Graduate Diploma or Post Graduate Certificate in
Education Assistant and Special Needs Support
but
if u had a (1st Class or 2.1), a Masters in Education Assistant and Special Needs Support should be what you should go for so as to show CAREER PROGRESSION

Make ur research on schools in Canada (Designated Learning Institute) offering the Program in PGD/PGC level or Master Level

All da best!!!!

I didn’t say it’s not necessary, I said it’s not COMPULSORY. If paying tyytiin deposit will not put you in pressure , then you can go ahead to do it.

However the most important thing is to proof to the VO that you have your tuition fee for one year plus CAD10,000 for living expenses available to you.

Nigerians applying for student visa do not need to open an account in Canada. Upload your sponsors statement of account showing the money together with all other necessary financial documents .
Thank you for these response . Really appreciate your valuable response. God bless you

Yes , that's the next line of action.

U get such letter after submitting ur Study Permit Application but their NIGERIAN offices in Lagos (Lekki) and Abuja is yet to open due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, so Booking an Appointment ain't possible for now , hopefully its gonna open soon since other VFS offices in some countries are beginning to open

Its that Biometric Instruction Letter (Printed) u will take to the VFS Office together with ur International Passport

That's why Lot's of Applicants in the forum are anticipating for the opening of VFS (VAC) Offices in Lagos & Abuja(NIGERIA)

Do read the LETTER from Beginning to the End, u will find some important & vital info there

Please what's the full meaning of VAC, VFS, BVL

I think your best visa option is a Bachelor of Education. There are programs that will allow you to transfer your NCE and complete a bachelors degree in 2 to 3 years. You can transfer to other programs if you don’t later like it. All the best.

Yes. I think having career plans to go into post secondary teaching may fly. The only other question is why a foreign degree? A master’s degree can be gotten as easily from a university in Nigeria and you go on into lecturing and research. What’s a degree from Canada going to do for you that you can’t get from Nigeria?

If it’s true that there are schools in Nigeria that pay even up to 600k, then I actually think targeting a very well paying international secondary school May equally fly. If he can come up with evidence that he has investigated a number of international schools, this is what they pay and he intends upon return to apply to these schools. He may argue that his foreign degree will give him an edge over locally trained competition.

Thanks!

Good morning house
I have a few questions
1.I have paid my fees of $38,800CAD in full and I have $43,558CAD available for my stay in canada, in the imm1295, what do I fill as room and board?, what do I feel under the ‘other’ column? and what do I feel under the funds available for my stay in Canda?

2.My mum is my sponsor but my dad also has properties a,should I mention it in my sop and put the scanned copies of his properties documents under client information to show home ties?

3. Should I mention the estimated value of the properties like for example the house is in lekki,so I could give it an estimated value based on how much houses are in lekki?

4.In the sponsorship letter by mum,Is she meant to state the cost/estimates of her properties?

@dommakaveli @justmellow @justwise @frankrobnn @mcobex @anybody
please help
Please what category of visa are you applying for? Last time I checked IMM1295 is for open work permit and not study permit. Study permit is IMM1294. Please make sure you are not making a mistake

Hello,

I am new on this thread and doing this process for my younger brother . Ready to read all research available to pull this through instead of paying an Agent.
He just finished his Bsc (GEOGRAPHY AND PLANNING SCIENCE) last year with 2.2 but very low CGPA .
We intend applying for another Bachelors at SAIT - Southern Alberta Institute of Technology . Its a Two year program ( Bachelor Applied Geographic Information System)

Will like to know if anyone is applying to SAIT and also to ask if i am currently on track most especially going for another Bsc instead of PGD ...... I know its a long process but fully ready to go through the phase .

Is their any need for English Proficiency Test for an undergraduate program?

Thank You

Good day All,

please I need your advice on my application.
I graduated in 2012 with 2.1 in Accounting, cgpa of 4.13, i have 5 yrs working experience in the oil and gas industry as an accountant. am 36 yrs old
Currently I have CAD 35,000 ( i hope to receive additional CAD24000 upon my resignation + 25% pension contribution), I cant afford to apply for Masters program considering my present available fund.

My plan is as follows:
(1) apply for 2yrs diploma program in SAIT : Energy Asset Management. (with the hope to build in career in the industry in Canada). (CAD 34,000)
(2) apply for 2 yrs post baccalaureate program in TRU : business admin (CAD 38,430)
(3) apply for 2 yrs diploma in accounting program in UBC (CAD14,000) with the hope to pursue a CPA designation after the DAP program

Am a first time applicant trying to get all documentation right to avoid rejection. PLS HELP !!!

Its not advisable for your Brother to go for another Bachelor's Program , cos the VISA OFFICER won't be convinced with the 3-reasons below

Reasons are:
- There is no career progression for him pursuing another Bachelor's Program cos he alrdy has a B.SC alrdy.
- His Class of Honours is 2.2, why go for another Bachelor' Program instead of a PGD or PGC
- His Age might not be favourable for him to pursue another Bachelor's program

In a way for ur Brother to show career progression, he has to go for something higher e.g
He should go for a PGD (2 years) or PGC (1 year) in GIS..

There are lot of colleges offering PGD /PGC in GIS in CANADA most especially in ONTARIO & MANITOBA Provinces

Find attached a PDF of Colleges in Canada offering PGD / PGC programs, you will see reasonable amount of GIS programs there at PGD/PGC level

All da best!!!!!

Hello, my advice will be to apply to TRU MBA program. With your qualification you can get a direct MBA program that will cost you 30k. Another advice will be to enrol into a Business/accounting GRADUATE CERTIFICATE program. If you intend to come to TRU then you can take 8 prerequisite courses in Business administration post bac and switch to MBA the following year if you don't meet up or perhaps post bac Finance. Cheers.

P.S: switching from a post bac to MBA(that's if you dont quality directly into the MBA program which I doubt) will cost you more money.

Hello,

Though u seem to av reasons for choosing to do a DIPLOMA but it is way too low with the CGPA u graduated with.., and it shows no Career Progression

Try Consider the following:

- Have u checked out Cheap Universities in Canada offering Masters in the programs u listed above
- Have you made a research on Partially Funded Scholarship Masters in Canadian Universities
- Have u made a research on Fully funded
Masters Scholarships in Canadian Universities

(E.g Fully Funded MBA in Canada)

And by the way, there are Masters program u can do with the $34,000 CAD or $38,000 CAD available funds u mentioned above for the 2 year Diploma

With ur CGPA & Work Experience, a Masters in any of the courses u listed above is your best shot

To do a masters, u will need to get a Supervisor for a Masters, and u might even be Lucky to get a Fully funded or Partially Funded Scholarship

Visit the link below, u will see lots of schools offering MBA & Masters in Accounting in Canada, Google them, Make ur research bout their tuition fee and also contact professor/ doctors of the schools who can be ur potential supervisors

Masters in Business Administration (MBA)

Master's in Accounting

Note:
Since ur possible admission intake is JANUARY WINTER 2021 intake,
Try start as soon as possible, cos the duration of getting a Masters Admission can quite long or sometimes longer (2-5 months)

I doubt if there is anything called AFFIDAVIT of STUDY, even on google , there is nothing of such

There is only AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT, it will have the passport photograph (left hand side) of ur sponsor and urs (right hand side) and it is more of ur sponsor swearing an OATH that he or she will sponsor u throughout ur stay as a student in CANADA

Find a Sample of Affidavit of Support below
Though the one in Nigeria have their own Template, this is jz a Sample..

If u are in Lagos, check along G.R.A. road in Ikeja near LASUTH & Ikeja High Court, they are doing it there, u will see some women there ,mentioning the word AFFIDAVIT continuously, also at OGBA near WAEC Office, Ijaiye road, Ikeja, Lagos they are doing it there aswell.

If its not this AFFIDAVIT above u are talking about, then that's strange undecided

If its the sch. that require an AFFIDAVIT of STUDY, mail them that u don't know what that means , probably they could explain and break it down for u what it means or if possible they should give u a SAMPLE
All da best!!!!

Which school are you applying to? Is WES ICAP course by course evaluation a requirement?
Which document is WES requesting you to upload? You can mail them to clarify this for you. To the best of my knowledge, once they have evaluated for you before, they will request for the recipient's details, not to upload another document.
Your best bet is to contact WES and ask them.
