A Woman has died after suffering severe burns while answering a call close to her cooking gas.
Friends took to Facebook to share photos of her burns after the incident as they prayed for her to survive. Unfortunately, her health took a turn for the worse and she died. Her friends are mourning Her on Facebook while warning people to desist from answering phone calls near a cooking gas.

Very true. Take a phone to a gas station n make a call. Gbam. Boom. Sametin near a stove esp camping gas on expired cylinder

Damn... It's unfortunate.
With deep regreat in her family's heart and gratitude to the Almighty, they annouce the sudden death of their promising young daughter, who died as a result of an ignition between her cooking gas and the network of her phone by answering a call while the gas was on without puting fire to it first. Because of lack of patience and ignorance, it exploded and she died. Chai, it a pity, what a promising young sweet girl that died just like that?

Nigerians and recklessness.. firstly why Nigerians put gas cylinder indoors is beyond me to comprehend then start making a call.

Please lets always check out cooking gas for leakages. If you can afford it, change your table burners once in a while. I dont know the science behind phones and cooking gas but will avoid it too. Every call can wait. May her soul rest in peace.

I will never answer any call close to a gas cylinder again.
My condolences

First off there's no way your phone will ignite burning gas.
The cause wasn't the phone but carelessness.
How would anybody on gas and keep then attend to phone calls.
The right thing is to light the matches first take it close to the burner and on the gas.

Camp gas are usually the cause of all this things.

Every flammable gas or liquid can go off with a phone nearby. Even fuel. So while you're reading this also make sure your phone is never close to fuel..
