Wow...I'm impressed. So my decision to learn mongoDB,Node Js and express was not a bad decision at all.

Remotely working from home from here in the US due to COVID of course. I heard someone mentioning they were getting paid $500/month. That is enslavement bro. They'll delibrately outsource such jobs to beat down the price. That figure is about what we'll make here in 1 day.

If you're into any of these fields; developer, infosec, coding, pentest, net sec or any IT core field, this season is the best time cash in since you can literally run 2 jobs concurrently and run a third paying IT survey gig like URI.

And most of these apply outside the states too, just got to be in the position.

Would like to ask if you can help sir.. am a freelance UI/UX DESIGNER and a GRAPHIC DESIGNER too..

don't know if you can help with 1 or 2 companies that accept remote designers even if it $1k per month.
have sent a pm sir..

1. Programming is not a "hard" But I won't lie, can be stressful.. Programming is the act of designing and building an executable computer program to accomplish a specific task... Accomplishing this task when you still learning can be stressful but never hard... "Don't give up" my mentor encourage words...

2. There are no specific estimated time to learn but I will advice you to keep learning till the next 6months or more... By that time, you not an expect but atleast you should be able to carry on many practice project on you own

3. Its depends on what kind of programs you want to learn... If you want to be frontend web developer I think your budget should start from 50k from a well standard IT school, if you want to run full stack Or software Development , then I guess budget should be around 100+... You maybe lucky to see more cheaper rate its not a fixed price... What matters is a sound IT school

4. I can only advice you to search for top 10 IT school in your state that offer those courses ...

There is more to remote jobs than you think. Here is my personal experience.

Recently, i received a mail from a remote american tech company that i applied for. I was informed, that an interview will take placed few days, i prepared for the interview and the day came , lot of questions were asked that questioned my experience in web development. Finally the interview was over, but still i felt that i really embarrassed myself and messed up but i kept my fate.

Two days later, i received a mail from the same company where all the company guidelines, workflows and other necessary information i needed to get started were contained.

I resumed work a week after, soon i decided to set up my work environment just for me to realize i will be working actively at midnight from 11:30 - 6:30 due to time zones difference.

So basically, my life was staying on the PC every night and i adapted to it to the extent that i might not use my PC yet i can't sleep at night.

Soon after, i felt ill for 3 days after 4 weeks of sleepless nights and i was advised to reduce my working time and sleep often.

Knowing it was dangerous for my health, i cut my working time to 4AM and i will be off to bed. This step almost cost me my job because i published a new feature to the company product but i didn't include proper documentation of what the feature does and the developers and the members were annoyed with me to that.

Since it was a remote company though they have an office at California, most of their members work remotely, the company meetings are always held on Thursday via Google Meet and i have been marked absent for 3 times in a row which is really bad for my report. I was warned if i miss the next meeting, there is a possibility that i might be on probation or worst relieved of my role.

NB: I work as a frontend developer using Vuejs as my core language.

Share yours

Tell us how to get the remote jobs

This is totally a matter of preference. If you would rather do math and analyze data, obviously the data science route is the way to go. If you just like programming, being a full stack developer would be awesome for you. Either one will provide great opportunities and remuneration if that's what you're concerned about. In this case, you should just pursue what interests you more.

Both are lucrative
Just think about it and pick any that you think will be easy for you

Machine learning is new in Nigeria so not much people go into it...and in advanced countries most of the time they prefer to employ a Machine Learning Person who has like more than 5yrs experience

My best advice to you is to pick up UI/UX Design to help you have a higher chance of getting a good well paying job.

It's not totally true. I researched on the requirements needed by employers in Canada, and the prominent requirement is "Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent" and some relevant skills such knowledge of tensor flow, pandas, NoSQL, etc
