Betapikin01:
Good morning All.

Please I'm in a state of confusion right now.
I recently got an admission with a university in Australia (to resume 20th July) ACU precisely.
I have Paid my school fees, got my CoE, and I have also applied for my visa, did my Biometric and medical. Actually waiting for my grant. But due to the pandemic, everything is on pause mode.
Few weeks ago, the outcome of a scholarship that I applied for came out successful. And I was awarded a 50%scholarship. (I was so happy.)
Yesterday I got a mail from the school requesting the I can commence my studies online pending when the travel restriction will be lifted or I can defer the admission to Feb 2021.

Now my challenges.
1. If I defer the admission, will the scholarship be withdrawn?
2. If I chose to start my course online and my visa is denied what happens.
3. Can the school give me a new CoE reflecting the scholarship?

Please guys I need ur advice and humble suggestions

Regards.

65 points is the minimum point for skilled migration visas (189, 190 and 491) however each occupation/state have different points requirements to give you nomination. It's all dependent on your occupation, the state you reside in Australia etc., so it's not a one-size-fits-all approach.

All the 3 visas are 5 years.

Hello everyone, I have a quick question. Is IELTS required before one can apply for assessment with Engineer Australia? Again, can a fresh graduate with limited professional experience use the projects done in school to write a CDR? Thanks for your time.

Pls I will need to be in contact with you cos I also deferred to November too. I got MSC information technology at Deakin
danie09:
I just deferred my Msc offer at Deakin till November .
Was called by the international office earlier today.
We both agreed July resumption wasn't feasible considering the covid lockdown issues
So best choice is to defer and pray normalcy returns soon .

Tell the person to sponsor you on TSS 482 visa and also have it at the back of your mind that chances of getting to Australia this year is slim due to the pandemic.

Grateful to this page for sharing live experiences of people seeking visa to Australia which has guided a lot of them to greener pastures and most times it’s really hard to keep coming back here. I started following the thread from part 1 and by part 2 I was granted a study visa to WA, having put into practice almost everything I read from here, I was granted my permanent residency May 2020 and coming back to share my good-news I realised it’s already up to part 3. Whatever you are looking for is here and don’t give up, have a plan, stick to it and you’ll not be disappointed. Looking forward to sharing my citizenship news when that come through as well. Hope you all have a great day

Congrats! Tell us please the situation with Students now in Australia. How are they coping? Is there hope for reopening of their border for foreign students come 2021? Are there still jobs? etc.

Guys lets just pray a vaccine that prevents covid-19 transmission is found soon.
Cos despite new zealand and australia's early successes with fighting the virus.

The second wave looks like they still have a long battle to fight .

And despite the gradual easing of lockdown i really doubt the opening of Australian borders anytime soon.

Schools may have to continue with virtual classes or partly open campuses to locals and international students already in Australia.

Our plans and hopes should probably be fixed on early 2021.
But who knows one lucky scientist or researcher somewhere might just be days or weeks away from a covid-19 vaccine discovery.

Hi everyone,
I'm new here. I am a Bsc holder, Microbiology but I want to change to Nursing Science in Australia. Has anyone gotten admission into nursing science program in Australia?

I don't just know where to start from. Please I'm I supposed to start with a vocational training into d nursing program or apply directly for B.Sc in nursing science??... Also, how do I go about d application process.

Also, I need suggestions on universities I could apply to with cheap tuition fee, high acceptance rate and job prospects...

Please I need your advice urgently..thank u!

Nursing is getting more competitive to get in. You can get graduate entry into Masters of nursing with your Bsc. However, because nursing is very competitive, visa officers might see it as a pathway for permanent migration especially because you are applying from an AL3 country.
You can apply for Masters of public health, register units that are applicable for nursing in your first semester. You will have a better chance to switch to Nursing when onshore and your first semester public health units won't be a waste.
There is job prospects for all registered nurse in AU. No cheap school as well, you can use the link below to compare schools and their fees.

Hi,
Please house I will be greatful if my few questions is attended to. I intend to go for master's in any management course but the challenge is that I don't have Ielts.

1. Can I get admission without ielts in Australia?

2. Which is the cheapest school for international student?

3. Like how much do I need to budget for the whole process?

Thank you house.
