Quite often education abroad gives you a different orientation in life. For example no sorting or sleeping with lecturers for grades. You believe more in meritocracy despite some racism.
There is emphasis on transferable skills whatever you study.

In fact it is just different. The ambience, the exposure, widening of horizon, etc. Not just about getting a piece of certificate or regurgitating what you learnt to pass.

Even China's president's daughter is studying in the US. The US should ban Chinese students from studying aeronautical engineering, software engineering, automobile engineering, biotechnology, etc.

Those students are sponsored by China's surveillance state to acquire American know how, science and technology.

I remembered when l went for training. Most countries on attendance sent two representatives, Chinese sent sixteen and an interpreter.
