What if you target 4% and the price tanks further, thus converting your investment to long term or, you have to jump out at loss; did you consider that as well?

If we don't tell you the truth or correct some of your misconceptions about this JIJO thing, we're not fair on you nah.
If you want to jijo, make something that's a bit okay at least. 7 or 8% is even still better than 4%.
Jijo used to come with its stress and risks too, especially when your game is not in the bull period.

This 2.05% , but I have practically calculated their charge, and it was around 2.2%.

Yes you are right, this buy and sell charge of morgan capital was based on when there was no VAT on commission charges(brokerage fee), of 0.075%, which has been recently added.

Every other charges still remained same, so if you consider the VAT on commission charges of 0.075%, the new value will be:

* BUY CHARGE : 0.875%+ 0.075%= 0.95%
*SELL CHARGE : 1.175%+ 0.075%= 1.25%

* TOTAL BUY & SELL CHARGE = 0.95% + 1.25%= 2.2%

'Bewilderment' ke. We all know it is artificial nau. When they are done with their abracadabra then comes the fall. grin

See as culled from the Vanguard below.
A California man was arrested and ordered held without bond on Thursday for fraudulently obtaining some $9 million in coronavirus relief funds and using some of the money to gamble in Las Vegas.
Andrew Marnell, 40, a resident of the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles, California allegedly submitted a number of fraudulent loan applications in relation to the coronavirus pandemic and obtained millions in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funds.
Prosecutors say he used some of the money to make risky stock market bets, and squandered hundreds of thousands of dollars at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino and other gambling establishments in Las Vegas as recently as last weekend.
The PPP loans were part of the unprecedented $2.2 trillion CARES Act, which provided aid for millions of Americans suffering the economic effects of the pandemic.

I expected that NSE will benefit from it as well. Like oga robobo said once their markets start to fall, it will rub off on all markets. So let's join them and enjoy while it lasts. grin

I don't think there is anything wrong with what he is doing.
If someone is coming from background of trading forex or crypto, making 2% on a trade will not be a bad idea in stock market.

There is something called a "zero sum" . That's what it will eventually come to.
Its not close to sustainable. Being super confident is the worst mindset anyone that's jumping in and out of trades should be displaying hence the reason everyone is talking of "school fees".

I love people who dare and unapologetic about it....theirs is the kingdom of profit grin you have said it all, you must know what you are doing.
Here's my advice
1. If the amount you are staking is less than 1M, then it doesn't worth it.
1M will give you 20k approx. @4% ninu nkan oni nkan it's not bad. (pardon me I don't know mathematics)
2. Let it be at the back of your mind that there's no winner forever, 1 loss might wipe away all the profits you made in past 6 winning runs which nullifies your efforts. So try to be more skillful at it to minimise your chance of losing.
3. Always embrace counter arguments. There might be something they are seeing through instincts and experience which you are not seeing. But in the end, make sure your final decision is what you can defend.
4. Lastly, that kind of Jijo will make you money, which is fine. Building generational wealth by compounding is super fine. Investing shouldn't resemble a rat race or job. No offence please.

Sis, it is unfortunate that I have to repeat my self over and over to clear misconceptions about what I said here.

The market is not a continuous flow, it has stages, we have the trend and sideways. These major market states require different strategies. Common, it is not hard to see.

In a choppy market like this one I take smaller trades, 2% to 5% profit. Hmmmmmmm.... grin grin grin
