yes d oba of Benin is doing his best on the issue.which may take a long time to correct Nd I pray d mentality dies.for my tribe I wouldn't give u specific because someone from my tribe would come to attack me on wat true about d bad side of my tribe.d bad side of my tribe is d men are proud Nd self centered esp Wen they marry their fellow tribe women but are humble Wen they marry outside esp ladies DT dnt take such shit .some nt all have womanizing spirit.in my village esp they have this bring down syndrome.but my issue is d pride.d good side is dt d women are wife material esp d ones DT have my tribe mentality.nd no choke witch they have this ride to die attitude but d ones DT grow up outside in abj Lagos pH wetin u see u go take am.dt my tribe.my tribe DT unity isn't rili there like Hausa .my tribe person no too dey help e fellow tribe person.like Hausa Ibo( dnt too knw of yorubas) do.why I reply u is dt I no dey carry tribe for head because pple frm Ur tribe na dem go fit betray u .nd if I see wrong thing in my tribe DT causing image problem I go talk am also see good in my tribe I go talk.nd pray such can change.but can u do such.can an Ibo Yoruba Hausa acknowledge their bad side of their tribe.so DT we can all grow to be beta is answer is no.like Ibo get good side there d only tribe DT have d mind to build a plane or jet without feeling insecure to d white man.or I dey lie.but are supportive of their wives even allow their wives to manage their biz which my tribe men go frown to.but d bad side is their greed Nd lack of transparency to customer dey always dey spoil their greatness.for instance Ibo go build plane but instead of am to use original material to build e plane go use substandard materials to build DT plane to make excess profit causing d plane to crash Nd spoiling his innovation but Wen u try tell d Ibo man DT this greed u have DT spoiling Ur greatness God has giving u.they begin attack u.si it is with most tribes.dt y nigeria is d only African country with bad image.why because we talk about we coming together to build Nigeria make d country wrk but let it comes to our bad side of our tribes we don vex dey defend tribe wer no go librate u to greatness.like me if an Ibo,esan ,ibibobo or Edo man shw say e go develop my village I go support am.nd throw tribalism.defending d bad side of our tribes DT causing serious issues instead of solving it is a firm of tribalism we all complain about.if ibos had solve d bad issue their brothers are doing abroad Nd stop their habit of faking products,Nd adopt d white man best biz practices of nt cheating Ur customers.wetin b Lagos na d whole Africa for dey come east to buy goods Nd services Hausa for humble .dt wat Singapore did to malysia read their history.we blacks will get issues sha we no like d bitter truth we love make pple dey talk wetin we wan hear

You seem like a patriotic Nigeria. I really would like to know your tribe because we can't solve a problem without knowing the root cause of it. Well, I'm not a bini man but I'm from Edo State. I grew up in Lagos mainland so you can't tell me about Yoruba people because i know their in and out, I speak the language very well and I understand Igbo as well though I can't speak. You have some high praises about them being the best! Well, since you're not a yoruba man I'll reserve my comment. Betrayal is natural even family members betray each other. Jesus Christ was crucified by the Jews his people and betrayed by one of disciple Judah. You have to learn to live by yourself because you came into this world alone, as long as you've God by yourself and you're truthful forget it every things will fall in place. If I may ask, have you been betrayed because you sounds like someone who's hurt? Anyway, learn to write words in full I don't like abbreviations letters.

Lowlife Anambra blogger, you list names of your village people and name "Top Igbo influential people". Where is the name Sinach who made the Forbes list of 100 Most influential persons in the world, None of your listed village people made that list. You purposely omitted Sinach because she's Ebonyi. I guess Ebonyi is not Igbo. Silly village tribalist. No single Ebonyian made your list, because you too scared to admit... Is Anambra more Igbo than Ebonyi?

Igbos know how to downgrade and sell themselves low thanks to unnecessary pride and bragging.

Apart from a few, there are nothing special about these names.
And I am sure there are greater igbo people in the diaspora.

There is respect in mystery.

Revolva:

I did not say they speak igala ok it's from the onset that historical every body have been assimilated way back in the ancient time

Even illah also were 60 percent igalas

But today they don't speak igala anymore

Only Ebu in Oshimili north speak igala and they were the last day migrated from idah to present day ebu which was ceeded from old Bendel state to delta state ok

Keep quiet. Igala itself is an amalgam of Igbo and Yoruba, with a sprinkle of Idoma and Edo, who were conquered and currently ruled by Jukun dynasty from old Kwararafa kingdom.

Your Igala has Igbo in it right from onset. We even still have Igbo speaking enclaves in Kogi East.
If the Igbo, Edo and Yoruba in Igala didn't make Kogi East to stop being Igala , why should few migrant but assimilated Edo and Igala people in Anioma now mean that Anioma should no longer be Igbo?
Doesn't Edo and Igala have Igbo migrants there as well?
I don't blame you Edo and Igala, I blame the confused lots in Anioma who can't make use of their common sense.

I know nothing gives Edoids/Ijaws who have their eyes set on Anioma and Igbo parts of River state more joy than to watch Igbos in Anioma and Upland Rivers deny their Igbo tag and disassociate themselves from their kin in South East. Many of these Edoids/Ijaws nurse plans of assimilating and rulling over these Igbo speaking groups, they want to be majority by assimilating them and using them to upgrade from their minority status. They are also scared that should these groups accept and embrace their Igbo tag, the SE would not allow them achieve their agenda.
So like typical predators, they're working hard in isolating these Igbo groups from the herd(Igbo) so that they can take them down without having to deal with the Herd.
And the truth is that they wouldn't be succeeding without the help of these Igboid groups who out of ignorance and shortsightedness make themselves easy pawns in their political chess game.
This is why Ndiigbo from SE must let the Igboids be.

By the way, the Elumelus are proud Igbos like most Enu-ani influential people are.

Here is a video of Elumelu brother openly taking pride in his Igbo heritage before the floor of Nigeria national asembly in Abuja. So those Edoids crying over Elumelu inclusion here should eat their hearts out and know that not all Igbos in Delta are easy preys to their game.

Fast forward the clip to 4:49-4:60 mins to see Elumelu joyfully identify himself as a proud Igbo man.

Jay jay Okocha Is from Ogwashi uku, likewise Okonjo Iweala. The Ogwashi uku monarchy is derived directly from Nri dynasty in Anambra, so the people while identifying with Anioma political union of Igbo speaking people in Delta, are also particularly proudly Igbos.

Okocha has always been proud of his Igbo heritage.

Below is Okonjo Iweala thanking "Ndi banyi" (her Igbo people) for supporting her down the years through thin and thick.

If you are one of those Edoids carrying fake Bini stories of Super human Igbos who turned Anioma people who live next door to Edo into Igbo speaking people by mere interactions, I would suggest you get an Igbo man to interpret what Ngozi was saying there for you.
Ndi oshimoshi! Ndi Uchu.

Anioma are Bini descendants, yet you will never accept Nzeogwu from Anioma as a Bini man, and when Ojukwu replaced one of your own , Ejoor, with an Anioma man Dr Okonkwo as the administrator of Midwest , you Edoids all forgot they are Bini descendants and started accusing Ojukwu of running an Igbo agenda. Okonkwo and Anioma man suddenly became an Igbo man to you.

Sometimes I wonder how some so called aniomas are so blind to your little minorities games.
Ikegwuru. But Ndiigbo are grateful to the Royal house of Ogwashi uku, who are so full of wisdom and have not made themselves pawns in your political games. Ogwashi uku giants remain Igbo.

As for the Bini man called Jim Ovia and Emefiele, the OP who put their names there are on their own.
Those men have wealth but lack understanding.

Who is Chinwo Nnenda?
What happened to Frank Edwards, Ada Ehi, Sinach, etc. Chinwo never reach to tie those ones shoe strings nah. Why add her here? Because she sings in Beautiful Igbo language? Haha! Don't be fooled, that language is too sweet, that's why even her Bini ancestors abandoned their Bini language for it.

Chinwo and her Ikwerre people are confused Bini people.
I can never accept an Ikwerre man as an Igbo man, because I really don't see what they havs to offer Ndiigbo in terms of human and other resources.
OP is just looking for attention sha. Imagine putting Arthur Eze on top of an Igbo list with headliners like Dr Omalu, Chioma Ajunwa, Perpetual Nkwocha, Dr Echeruo that pioneered cancer cells detecting lenses for surgeries, etc, conspicuously missing

What a joke.
