Hello everyone, I do hope that you all are fine and staying safe! Does anyone knows where I can get the Measles, Mumps and Rubeola virus vaccinations done in Lagos? How much and how quick can I get it done? I anticipate our responses.

You can try LUTH.

I took my shots here at UCH in Ibadan. I took the second shot 2 days ago.

MMR 1 and MMR 2 = #8600 that's #4300 per shot.

The gap between the first and the second shot is 4 weeks.

Not sure of how much it is in Lagos, but 1 dose of MMR is 6k in Abuja...You should expect something similar in Lagos

depends on the school. Some schools won't accept no matter how good it is unless it's evaluated. Some wouldn't even accept if you use another agency aside WES. I think most ivy leagues would accept though. It depends on the school.

So you mean most ivies would accept it without evaluation
or have u seen anyone that was accepted without his/her transcript being evaluated??

Thanks! But since my school as stated the U.S equivalent of my grades that was recommended by NYC (New York City department of education) why would they still ask for it to be evaluated by WES which will cause me money and time

I just pray the evaluation is waived

Yes most ivies don't ask for evaluation, according to what I know.

I know a lot of people accepted into schools without evaluation.

You should talk to your school on that.

Kimzylove:
WAEC result or secondary school transcript(For a school that doesn't calculate GPA) which do you think is better for admission processing?

Your waec result is just a supplementary material it's just a secondary certification exam

You'll need to submit your transcript even though GPA is not evaluated
Some schools will ask you to submit an evaluated transcript from a transcript evaluation agency, Some might not require any especially ivies

I'll advice u to submit your transcript anyways because it shows all your pefromance in a long duration of time instead of just a one sitting exam

And besides are you a prospective applicant into any undergraduate program?
If yes what universities? So I can give you a detailed information as per University.

I suggest you find out if you can get it done in your school. When I was in Abuja my then HMO was billing me over ₦70,000 for the set but someone advised me to be patient and get it done after traveling. I did and my medical insurance covered everything.

You also forget to add that they have effectively handled the virus to very few cases. I don't believe it's just about opening your airspace.

This depends on the school policy. Some schools would not allow you to register for courses until you complete shots. If that is the case with you, the best thing would be to take the first shots here, and then take the second on arrival.
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by kastgeraldino: 7:27pm On Jul 18, 2020
Can you take these shots multiple times? I thought almost every Nigerian kid was immunized. I honestly can't even remember what I did when I was going to college some years back.
