Ogaonos:You seem like a patriotic Nigeria. I really would like to know your tribe because we can't solve a problem without knowing the root cause of it. Well, I'm not a bini man but I'm from Edo State. I grew up in Lagos mainland so you can't tell me about Yoruba people because i know their in and out, I speak the language very well and I understand Igbo as well though I can't speak. You have some high praises about them being the best! Well, since you're not a yoruba man I'll reserve my comment. Betrayal is natural even family members betray each other. Jesus Christ was crucified by the Jews his people and betrayed by one of disciple Judah. You have to learn to live by yourself because you came into this world alone, as long as you've God by yourself and you're truthful forget it every things will fall in place. If I may ask, have you been betrayed because you sounds like someone who's hurt? Anyway, learn to write words in full I don't like abbreviations letters. |

kevid:Lowlife Anambra blogger, you list names of your village people and name "Top Igbo influential people". Where is the name Sinach who made the Forbes list of 100 Most influential persons in the world, None of your listed village people made that list. You purposely omitted Sinach because she's Ebonyi. I guess Ebonyi is not Igbo. Silly village tribalist. No single Ebonyian made your list, because you too scared to admit... Is Anambra more Igbo than Ebonyi? |

All these Deltans and Rivers people - Okonjo, Emefiele, Jim Ovia, Mercy, Nduka, they'll never believe they're ibos. There are better names to replace them with. E.g....replace Mercy with Sinach. |

Igbos know how to downgrade and sell themselves low thanks to unnecessary pride and bragging. Apart from a few, there are nothing special about these names. And I am sure there are greater igbo people in the diaspora. There is respect in mystery. |

Revolva:Keep quiet. Igala itself is an amalgam of Igbo and Yoruba, with a sprinkle of Idoma and Edo, who were conquered and currently ruled by Jukun dynasty from old Kwararafa kingdom. Your Igala has Igbo in it right from onset. We even still have Igbo speaking enclaves in Kogi East. If the Igbo, Edo and Yoruba in Igala didn't make Kogi East to stop being Igala , why should few migrant but assimilated Edo and Igala people in Anioma now mean that Anioma should no longer be Igbo? Doesn't Edo and Igala have Igbo migrants there as well? I don't blame you Edo and Igala, I blame the confused lots in Anioma who can't make use of their common sense. |

I know nothing gives Edoids/Ijaws who have their eyes set on Anioma and Igbo parts of River state more joy than to watch Igbos in Anioma and Upland Rivers deny their Igbo tag and disassociate themselves from their kin in South East. Many of these Edoids/Ijaws nurse plans of assimilating and rulling over these Igbo speaking groups, they want to be majority by assimilating them and using them to upgrade from their minority status. They are also scared that should these groups accept and embrace their Igbo tag, the SE would not allow them achieve their agenda. So like typical predators, they're working hard in isolating these Igbo groups from the herd(Igbo) so that they can take them down without having to deal with the Herd. And the truth is that they wouldn't be succeeding without the help of these Igboid groups who out of ignorance and shortsightedness make themselves easy pawns in their political chess game. This is why Ndiigbo from SE must let the Igboids be. |

By the way, the Elumelus are proud Igbos like most Enu-ani influential people are. Here is a video of Elumelu brother openly taking pride in his Igbo heritage before the floor of Nigeria national asembly in Abuja. So those Edoids crying over Elumelu inclusion here should eat their hearts out and know that not all Igbos in Delta are easy preys to their game. Fast forward the clip to 4:49-4:60 mins to see Elumelu joyfully identify himself as a proud Igbo man. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DaccQo5I5slc&ved=2ahUKEwiko8HPydbqAhXKQkEAHUwZAlc4ChCOODAAegQICBAB&usg=AOvVaw1OdIxlzP_KhTexfjiORoOB |

Jay jay Okocha Is from Ogwashi uku, likewise Okonjo Iweala. The Ogwashi uku monarchy is derived directly from Nri dynasty in Anambra, so the people while identifying with Anioma political union of Igbo speaking people in Delta, are also particularly proudly Igbos. Okocha has always been proud of his Igbo heritage. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pulse.ng/sports/jay-jay-okocha-former-super-eagles-maestro-jokes-about-his-ibo-accent/0lv63vs.amp Below is Okonjo Iweala thanking "Ndi banyi" (her Igbo people) for supporting her down the years through thin and thick. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.facebook.com/radiobiafra/videos/234367931156407/&ved=2ahUKEwj6no710NbqAhUDmVwKHTX9A1YQwqsBMAB6BAgOEAM&usg=AOvVaw3vEGK7sqvBD3hlpSY5YQ7y&cshid=1595069945449 If you are one of those Edoids carrying fake Bini stories of Super human Igbos who turned Anioma people who live next door to Edo into Igbo speaking people by mere interactions, I would suggest you get an Igbo man to interpret what Ngozi was saying there for you. Ndi oshimoshi! Ndi Uchu. Anioma are Bini descendants, yet you will never accept Nzeogwu from Anioma as a Bini man, and when Ojukwu replaced one of your own , Ejoor, with an Anioma man Dr Okonkwo as the administrator of Midwest , you Edoids all forgot they are Bini descendants and started accusing Ojukwu of running an Igbo agenda. Okonkwo and Anioma man suddenly became an Igbo man to you. Sometimes I wonder how some so called aniomas are so blind to your little minorities games. Ikegwuru. But Ndiigbo are grateful to the Royal house of Ogwashi uku, who are so full of wisdom and have not made themselves pawns in your political games. Ogwashi uku giants remain Igbo. |

As for the Bini man called Jim Ovia and Emefiele, the OP who put their names there are on their own. Those men have wealth but lack understanding. Who is Chinwo Nnenda? What happened to Frank Edwards, Ada Ehi, Sinach, etc. Chinwo never reach to tie those ones shoe strings nah. Why add her here? Because she sings in Beautiful Igbo language? Haha! Don't be fooled, that language is too sweet, that's why even her Bini ancestors abandoned their Bini language for it. Chinwo and her Ikwerre people are confused Bini people. I can never accept an Ikwerre man as an Igbo man, because I really don't see what they havs to offer Ndiigbo in terms of human and other resources. OP is just looking for attention sha. Imagine putting Arthur Eze on top of an Igbo list with headliners like Dr Omalu, Chioma Ajunwa, Perpetual Nkwocha, Dr Echeruo that pioneered cancer cells detecting lenses for surgeries, etc, conspicuously missing What a joke. |
