We just need to accept the fact that we are not longer the big brother we think we are.

Swallow our pride and beg the Chadians to come and help us they did it before they can do it again.

I think moral in the army is at a very low level.

I think it would be much much cheaper to pay the Chadians as well.

grin grin grin When I finished my secondary studies in a Military school, I told my Dad I want to enlist into the armed forces. He vehemently refused that I so held that grudge until I relocated to Borno state. Previously when I attend military wedding I was always feeling so bitter why I did not go against my Dad's directives. You know how military wedding sweet na grin. All those swords stuff grin

But since I relocated to Borno I immediately
Sent a 21 yr old Glenfiddich to my Dad

Many dudes in the Nigeria armed forces got no business there as they will find it so hard to adjust to the Frontline lifestyle for the reasons below grin

1) Most Generals just enlist their kids in the military to Maintain the status quo

2) Some NCOs joined the military due to lack of jobs in Nigeria. Many don't have the heart for it.

3) The Military is a Regimental job. Anyone who is enlisting should understand this.

The last attack in Monguno from anonymous sources, ISWAP carried out an intelligence monitoring and discovered that Soldiers mounting the entrance checkpoints in Monguno barely stay at their checkpoints during Mid-day. The CO visits the outposts from 4pm downwards of which most Soldiers would definitely return before he visits.

When ISWAP struck at 11am of which more than half of the soldiers stationed at this checkpoints have gone for their usual merriment to Gidan Martha and GF's houses. Tho I heard those that were unavailable are chilling in the guard room till date cool

When enlisting into the Army, kindly ask yourself these questions:

Can I stay without sex for a year?

Can I stay in a location for a year without seeing my loved ones?

Can I spend a year sleeping on a tiny mattress or mat in a zinc or thatch house close to my trench for a year?

Do I have the mental capability to exchange gunfire weekly for a year without going psychological? Like Soldiers in Rann, Kala Balge engaging weekly.

Let me add one more reason why some joined the army

4) Alternative to cultism. Some saw the military as a cult.

NA should work on leadership (leadership of the army is more interested in pleasing the presidency than serving the people)

Quality training not just numbers

Best fit equipments in that order

These stories I'm seeing about solders resigning, is it that easy to resign from the army? I've always thought resigning from the military is "almost" impossible.. Please someone should explain better.

You're so right on number 1 and 2. Even in the NDA, 70% students you find there are kids of high rank officers. 25% are kids whose parents aren't high ranked officers but they happen to be close or be related to one. The remaining 5% are those who have nobody but God (it's even rare.).

Most soldiers I know don't care about, they always have gf wherever they're posted. That's why some of them have children from different mothers. Even in Abuja here, they're always "hunting" for babes. grin

By the Constitution u are allowed to exercise ur freedom provided it does not encroach into others right, and with certain exception as encapsulated under Chapter 4 of the 1999 Constitution as amended 2011...
Otherwise u will be voilating his right to dignity of human person section 34

It’s doing very well interns of mobility, handling rough terrains and can carry large numbers of troops because of its shear size. well protected against all PKM/GPMG rounds and can protect troops against rounds of Dashk/NSV/kord 12.7 rounds from certain distance.
And can withstand IED of up to 12kg, the only setback these MRAP has his its weights especially during rainy season with the sand is muddy.
I’ll like if we produce more of the LAV/AFV of 4 x 4 types.

See why I have issues with Nigerians?, so i can't quote the constitution in defense of my rights ahbi?. Like you said 'encroaching', perhaps your definition differs from mine, do well to elaborate or I may have to ask for 'evidence'. If neither of of my terms are met by sundown I'll discard this as a 'futile' accusation.

what of foreign assistance. I don't think any other country is fighting terrorism alone like we seem to be.

Foreign assistance always fulfils a particular interest built on previous military support or treaty, The agreement that got Russia involved in Syria is older than Assad, Iran in Syria dates decades back, US moves with NATO, Saudi Arabia once invited us to join Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, Nigerians don't want to hear Islam or anything that sounds like it so which foreign help are you gonna get? Mercenaries?
MNJTF is the best foreign help we can get sadly, its a coalition of countries that are in trouble already.
Nigeria is strictly OYO in this war, the earlier we figure out a way forward, the lower our chances of becoming refugees!!

I dunno, but if it's the regular course mannnnn that's a lie. Everything there is solely on merit, don't believe 'this, that rumors', coming from someone that has undergone that very same protocol. Rc 70.

I guess you suffer from anxiety, so your gra gra, can't let you read and comprehend, instead you hallucinate rubbish as the information you deduce... someone like you can't even survive in nda, you would have most likely be using clutches within your first 5 months, and they would suffer you very well.
