This is nice. I love traditional dishes though I've never eaten ukwa before,I heard its delicious. Does it taste like akidi or beans? Would love to try it. Can you please share your recipe, tried checking you tube saw some confusing recipes.
Thanks.
Ukwa has its own unique teste and I'm sure when you try it you will love it.

How I prepare my own.
Ingredient
Ukwa
Salt
Dry pepper
Maggi
Dry fish
Shaki and roundabout (optional)

Preparation.
Step 1: wash your Ukwa and boil using pressure pot (because it takes long to cook) put inside your p/pot and cook for 10min bring it down and allow to cool off.
Step 2: On another pot you cut your roundabout and shaki into smaller pieces, wash and boil add your pepper, maggi salt and once the shaki and roundabout is soft add your washed dry fish then allow all to cook very well.
Step 3: remove the cover of your pressure pot to make sure that the Ukwa is soft then continue cooking (make sure their is still water as you don't want waterless ukwa grin)
Step 4: add the cooked shaki, roundabout n dried fish to the already boiling Ukwa allow to cook for 5 - 15min, taste to know what next to add like salt/maggi/pepper, add red oil then allow to cook for another 10min.
Your Ukwa is ready.

Good morning guys.

please i need recommendations and price for a very good and durable food processor especially the one that can grind beans to a very smooth paste.

the one that was gotten has ruined the batter for akara this morning.

Nne, must it be a food processor? Any good blender of 500watts> would grind beans WELL. The price depends on the brand, watts, capacity (in litres), build and functions. I have a strong preference for Kenwood and the modern Panasonic products, but Akposy bought Ambiano recently and he said it is good. It was also affordable(30k). So, you can try that.

Sorry about the akara. You for turn am to moinmoin, make e no cause fight. grin

Nice. This is the kind of topping i like on my pancake...chocolate drizzle kiss

Would have also luved to see d face of d pancakes without the topping. How did u achieve the shape and consistency of the pancake? Like can we see a glimpse of d pan used, how u got the shape good etc Asking for someone whose pancake turned to fried eggs here and was almost giving up while lamenting in utter bitterness till we encouraged him. grin

I was specific about food processor because I used blender once to grins beans and it spoilt. I was thinking food processor would be stronger but yesterday's experience has proven otherwise.

thank you so much. i really appreciate.

Chocolate cake #recipe
Procedure - sift dry ingredients (flour+b.p+b.s + cocoa+ salt) in a bowl - Add eggs, sugar and veg oil together in another mixing bowl and mix - Then add in vanilla flavor, buttermilk, and mix together until smooth - Fold in the dry ingredients and mix to combine - Finally add the warm water and mix together - scoop batter into a prepared/ greased pan and Bake till firm Note: do not over mix your batter.
Hope someone try this out and feel the fluffy taste
