Where is the guy who bought FBN, referring to the scalper who claimed he personally did something to FCMB last week.

I hope he is enjoying his 2% daily returns, 10% weekly returns and 4% monthly returns

Well spoken, but then again, it can sometimes be an "unworthy mission" to seek to consistently time the market.
The KEY is; whether its a BULL or BEAR mkt, just have a STRATEGY that syncs with ur investment personality(risk tolerance in view) and goals, then allow matters to be guided by the trend/mkt sentiment at any given time.

...ceteris paribus, u should be just fine !!

The hustle was real in those years. I think chams was even oversubscribed as some funds were returned . What of Food concepts, Geofluid, IAA, Universal , Union bank properties and so many private placement that failed?. In short for every 1 private placement that came out good, 10 had failed.

My summation of this market is that whether you go long term or short term . Dont sleep with your 2 eyes closed. As a long term investor book profit from time to time and move those funds to other classes of investment like bonds and real estate.

Without necessarily attaching less importance to the other part of ur post, the most pivotal item therein is in the part in bold. wink cheesy grin
...couldn't agree more !!

Those who have stayed long enough in NSE know that for every successful private placement, there are twenty that have failed.

The private placements that failed were marketed, ideally private placements are not marketed. People who are worthy are usually invited to come and invest. Most of such Investments might not pay dividends for 5 years and above, they are also investments that you might not be able to be liquidate.

But when the Investments starts raining, they create flood of money and wealth.

The long wait is usually worth it

There is time for everything.

Until we understand this, we will keep losing money.

As market trades, you try to understand what it is doing. But many of us don't do this.

I bought Zenith Public offer in 2004 at 10.90. 16 years later, I bought Zenith at 10.70 on the open market grin grin

I have bought and sold Zenith many times within that 16 years and I am on board again.

There is time for harvest. When it is time for harvest, don't leave your crop unattended.

Monitor the cycles in the market. Market has cycles. Market talks to us, but we hardly listen.

Once again, u have spoken very well !! wink cheesy grin

I'm glad to hear it was thought provoking... It had the same effect on me too...

I take no credit for the revelation though. It was birthed after a discussion with like-minds who had done all the hard work of getting the data...

I am a long-termist who now believes in taking profit once initial valuations are unjustifiably exceeded...

See that part in bold... very PIVOTAL !! wink cheesy grin

Who was the president between 2016 till the end of 2017 when market moved from low to high? Was FPI not in the market then?

Market has stages, and those stages must develop even if you like put Pope as President.

I'm not holding brief for anyone. But we should stop complaining and make the money. Money dey here! grin grin

On the part in bold... It wasn't Buhari naw... It was president Mahamadou Issoufou. grin grin grin

Since the hunger for PP is building up again, thats an indication that the cycle will soon be completed. The wound for those who have been burnt doesn't need to heal because the new generation is ready to gain their own teacher (experience). Life itself is cyclical.

There are always private placements which the High Networth Investors are invited to invest in. In case you don't know most of the most profitable Investment opportunities are not on NSE.

Most cases they need just 50 to 100 Investors, who can invest substantial amount of money. Not referring to the 500k private placements with tens of thousands shareholders that were marketed between 2006 and 2008

GTB : Those big guys are at it again...... deliberately dragging the share price back to 21.50 and loading.
Let's see where they'll push the price when they're done this time around.
Someone mentioned that FPIs are not buying, is it locals that are buying those huge volumes, 37M units? Let's wait and see.....

Yes it is !!
But the good thing is that it comes at a low cost(single digit interest rate) compared to other alternative window of debt. ...so its a plus for the beneficiary coys if put to good use.
They have the current surrounding investment climate(the pandemic in view) to their advantage as it could most likely generate an increased demand for healthcare product. ...a sought of ripple effect.

Coys in the healthcare sector are a HOLD for us !!

ETI TARGETING NGN 6.0 IN COUPLE OF WEEKS
With the stock price creating a Higher-Low, ETI shares could likely be on the way to 6.00 or above in a couple of weeks. And looking at the banking sector showing strength (as explained in my last YouTube video), ETI most likely will follow the rest on the rally trip... 4.50 - 4.60 is my BUY ENTRY advise
Sir, below is your ETI comment I referred to. Was posted on 13th July.
I didn't say you mentioned support to be N6 .......but that it might likely go up and touch N6 possibly....... except I don't get the content of the msg right...... smiley
.....just made the reference for anyone interested to pick at 4.35 or below......cos it was approaching a safe junction to key-in.
Year low was 3.90.
