You can test this hypothesis by emailing a Uni for Medicine, state that you have Biochemistry as a first degree and see their response.

Surely, a true graduate of Biochemistry should know there is no such thing as ‘Medicine at Masters’.

I was at IOM centre today for further test, we were three with the same issues. They said the results would be out in 8weeks if the result is negative. Baba, no be small coughe today oo.. they asked us to laugh to produce mucous.
I pray for better outcome tho. My school resumes 5th of Oct.. am thinking of differ admission till January but I will hold on till next month end..it seems IOM people are biased to people without scholarship.
I will make my deposit this Friday nd keep my fingers cross

@skymoore is right. You are not showing progression and that's why you are not getting the admission. What was your undergraduate degree? Perhaps, you could choose a master's program closer to this if it is significantly different from your MSc. Electrical engineering.

Also, explain in your personal statement how you regret initially taking on Electrical engineering as you are not finding fulfillment in your career.

Finally, there are loads of universities to explore. Extend your applications.

Apart from progression angle, applying to just one school when UK application process is Free. That putting all your eggs in one basket . Why can't you apply to other schools?

I’m just against making any payment until you’re actually at the location or can that it’s for rent. The landlord can just let you in without physically being with you, for an inspection. Eg (he stands outside). I mean it’s a vacant space so there’s nothing for one to steal per say lol.

Reason I say this is because one can actually be scammed with the whole “online viewing” method. I still have a clear video of my room, kitchen, bathroom etc that I sent to my landlord as a proof of no damage in order to get my deposit back. I can easily upload that on SpareRoom or gumtree and write “online inspection”. Someone will show interest and I will send my UK details to them. It doesn’t take much to draft a contract & most people don’t even know that landlords are registered or own a license.

So yeah I’m just against the payment technique as suggested earlier that’s all .

I guess you can, but you’d prolly start from foundation level before year 1. The gurus can advise better

Yeah gumtree it’s defo a dodgy site lol.
Funny enough, most spam emails where from Nigerians. Especially the ones that ask for PayPal payment.
Although they usually do that for items that you can post.

Only good thing about gumtree is that you can get something for very cheap if you bargain well. I got an unlocked iPhone 7 Plus 256gb (when it newly came out) for 400 quid & I’m not kidding. Apparently the guy needed quick cash & the phone was a contract upgrade from 3 network.
In terms of renting, you can bargain & even get a room that requires no deposit.

So yeah gumtree has the good & bad.

Getting assurance that you are well should give you some form of comfort, be positive bro. It's just the 8 weeks wait time which might actually be working for your good.

On all the documents my name is correctly written as "Musa Isimeme Adeola" except my WAEC Certificate where my name is written as "Musa Isimemhe Adeola"
Notice the inclusion of "H" in the middle name.

Also my son who is applying as a dependant with me has my name written correctly on his birth certificate issued by the hospital in Virginia, USA where he was born but then again, the state of Virginia that issuued the official birth certificate has my middle wrongly spelt my as "Isimemen" This time, they have included "N"

People have advised me to do affidavit for the WAEC. Tho I am not too sure about this. But am just lost on what to do about the birth certificate.

My initial plan was to book a hotel to stay for 2 nights and then sort my apartment from there but with the latest development that says we have to stay at our arrival place for at least 14 days, I am confused on what steps to take next. I do not wish to stay in the University's owned accommodation and a hotel for 14 days is way too expensive. I also checked travel lodge which seems a bit decent for the purpose of isolation at about £470 for 2 weeks but they want a pre-payment. Can you provide the best solution(s) to this?

Speak with your school to see if there is any arrangement for foreign students regarding the 14days isolation, schools are also lobbying the government on this, I’m sure things will change before September.

Most of the houses you see online are not actually real, they are uploaded there by mostly our Nigerian and Asian scammers just to scam unsuspecting individuals

Rent an apartment online. I received over 4 calls from property agents today. It's as simple as ABC. See a property. Do a video inspection, read the tenancy agreement and you like it then make payment. Them no fit scam you for UK with a UK bank account. Thanks

Does your CAS say you need to provide your WAEC certificate? The few I have seen don’t.

I don’t see any of this as an issue. My birth certificate has OluwaX and all my other documents just say OluX and it has never been an issue.

Just do an affidavit that shows all the variants if that would make you feel better.
