So what is the fate of those with awaiting result? Are going to conduct another admission process for them or they are going try again next year?
One funny thing about Nigerians is that we react to everything without reading up to know the exact situation.

Ministry of education asked Jamb to go ahead with admission process and make space for the SS3 students who will be accomodated later. If your read the guildlines well, Jamb said there is no date to close the admission process.

It is not in what I read here so you can cut me some slack there.

Why the hurry?
What about our ageing lecturers in this pandemic period?
Or what if WAEC scrap their exam this year?

At least the should give admission so that I'll have small hope even if I'm to resume by 2021 and they should consider these set of SS3s biko.

Nice one, we have to look for methods to continue our educational system amidst this pandemic. So students, if you need airtime to buy data just dial *444# from any bank account you run to get credited immediately wink

Sadly JAMB is just after yearly revenue and not educational standards of Nigeria or Operational ethics of schools, how can they commence admission when majority of the candidate are still unable to write their WAEC and we are still faced with the pandemic knowing fully well that larger percentage of our lecturers are over 60 years of age.

It's just sad every sector in Nigeria will just be dishing out different policy without considering or consulting another possibly affected sector.

When I get to heaven me and the angel that assign me to Nigeria have a score to settle because I know ordinarily I cannot pick Nigeria out of all the countries on earth *when life is not doing me.
Blame the fact that there's no coordination. I wonder if the ministry of education had been doing all this while sad. They think it's by saying nothing at useless task force briefings angry

But you said they planned to accommodate the SS3 students later then I'm asking you what if the SS3 students are unable to write their WAEC; will JAMB admit them like or refund their JAMB fee.
Am talking about the bigger picture why don't you read my first comment before just jumping in between comments.

But if this doesn't make sense to you then you are for quoting in the first place without understanding my point.

Where did JAMB have the POWER to give such an order?
Re: JAMB Directs Tertiary Institutions To Begin Admission Processes August 21 by uchrikk(m): 8:06pm On Jul 20, 2020
How is it possible that schools that are closed will start admissions? JAMB is somehow ordering all schools to reopen. Let's wait till Ministry of Education replies to this.

Lol without Waec

What happens to those SS3 students that have above 300 in Jamb this year??
No admission for them i think. I don't see why one does not have the write document and still proceed for an higher exam. Just imagine not completing your undergraduate course and you are expected to get into Msc. Come on Awaiting results should be scrapped na. I suspect admission won't begin without Released results of WASSCE because most tertiary institutions would want to make money because, the more students buy more post utme forms the more funds the school gain. I am of the opinion without O level No jamb registration
Re: JAMB Directs Tertiary Institutions To Begin Admission Processes August 21 by PrinceMajestic: 9:03pm On Jul 20, 2020
Since when did jamb become federal ministry of education that issue directive to tertiary institutions that are even in disputing terms with FG? Are they ordering ASUU or federal ministry of education? They must be crazy

I am equally confused o! Many schools just started first semester of 2019/2020 before ASUU/Covid-19 came, students had already been admitted for the session, so which admission is JAMB talking about?
