You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.

Fighting over which state between Imo and Anambra that is better; is this how your Biafra would work?

You should take your governors to task to entrench good governance, build lasting infrastructure, encourage industrialization and reduce corruption to the barest minimum.

The Igbo states are lagging behind in terms of good governance and enduring infrastructure and all Igbos should rise up and condemn maladministration that is prevalent in Imo, Abia and Enugu states.

Oh, so please show us these states with good governance. I'd like to look at them, for pointers sake.

Most of the people arguing are NOT Igbo, they're trolls. They've been doing the same thing for over 5 years. Every time they're banned they come back with new usernames, doing the same thing.

I will try to be civil in my response

You don't jump into stuff you know nothing about

Those idiots have their personal issues

And have been doing this since this thread was created in 2012

Lastly, Nigeria is a shithole with bunch of lunatics, who call themselves governors, looting their state resources

It's a private investment owned by Gregory university Uturu. I heard chinedu Ogah( minister of mines and steel) is about making some serious investments in okigwe via factory establishment.

Let IMSG let the flyovers remain like that for the flyover crazy - capital city people who asked for them. Millions of Naira state funds must not be put into demolition of the flyovers while rest of Imo state have no common pipe borne water, hardly any passable urban roads in towns outside the state capital.
How much shall end up in demolishing this tunnel built where there was no hill in Owerri, where a roundabout would have been better?

Owerri clapped “Owelle mere yaaa” when the tunnels were built.

as someone said, stop ranting like a bitch. we will never allow you and your criminal god father Rochas to come close to anything government in Imo state

Even the one demolished was not showing any crack as claimed here, let them ensure that it is replaced. Government is for people not for tussle, any grudges with Rochas should be settled outside the government. Don't use people's mandate to fight your personal war. Government should be for continuity no matter what the case may be.

When Rochas took over he completed all Ohakim projects and did not destroy anyone, if there is claim of crack the best thing to do is to reinforce or renovate instead of destroying in entirety. To my personal opinion, Rochas achieved wonderfully well in Imo state and I don't think the way things are going Uzodimma can match him. Only offence Rochas committed was to belong to APC and failed to spend and award contract recklessly to imo political criminals. Had it been he did so he wouldn't have achieved what he achieved today. Look at what is happening in NDDC today.

I'm happy for this present government and pray that they do well, but first and foremost I will advise that they should stop any form of destruction and ensure that all uncompleted projects of the past administrations (Rochas and Ihedioha) are completed and new ones built. Let them replace the demolished tunnel, complete the multi-storey car park at Douglas road, complete the diasporan city, reopen the two flyovers and the remaining tunnels, reopen all the higher institutions closed by Ihedioha, complete Owerri-Okigwe highway, rehabilitate Owerri-Orlu highway, complete all the uncompleted dual carriage roads in Orlu, build 8 more new dual carriage roads in Orlu and Okigwe to connect nearby communities and expand the two cities, redesign Owerri drainage system and complete Orlu's own against the agitation of the host community, continue with the job creation policy of Owelle Rochas and reintroduce the free education policy to help the less privileged in the society.

He he he.
The Commissioner of Works you are proposing to build dual carriage ways in Orlu and Okigwe is the same Commissioner who was designing flyovers in Owerri under Ohakim government when no urban roads were built or reconstructed in either Okigwe or Orlu.
What judgement on earth made this Commissioner showcase the urban roads he reconstructed in Owerri so far, but leaves the roads to his state’s university teaching hospital and International Market in Orlu like this?
Even the dualized roads of Okorocha in Orlu are hardly motorable now.

The state of road in Orlu is sad. The Owerri-Orlu road has gone bad especially from Owerri to Umuaka. Then inside Orlu, failed roads. I came in to Orlu yesterday and was sad with the state of the roads. Even the Umuaka bridge Rochas built has started developing fault(one part has started to erode)

I heard the contractor had a little skirmish with the locals via settlement funds, the contractor packed up but the ministry of works waded in and resolved the problem, I believe the contractor is back onsite.

Hopefully, Rochas pursues this university project to fruition.

He realized the importance of public university in Orlu zone but was fought hands down by Owerri when he talked about relocating IMSU to Orlu zone so that Owerri makes do with fed Uni of technology, Alvan, Nekede Polytechnic, fed College of Agriculture and technology all in Owerri.
Gov Uzodinma is about to destroyed the prospects of a State public university in Orlu zone with his intention to convert State Polytechnic very close to Owerri to a university of Agriculture.

See how you expose before the public that you are not from any where near Orlu.

You saw the UGLY state of the roads leading to vital institutions in Orlu. See your response to it.

You may also claim that the other guy after you who wrote about the ugly state of Orlu urban roads is not from Orlu?
