The competition for the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) in the world of football has been a bone of contention between these two fantastic footballers, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The argument has been more among the fans of these two players than between the two players themselves.

There are many points raised for and against each of the two players as strengths and weaknesses they have. One of the points raised against one of them is that he waits more on being given penalties to score than nipping his way through the defence of the opponents to hit the back of the net
