Don't see any reason not to
Just make sure you take them to get dewormed and vaccinated soon
And try letting them in your house too so they can get accustomed to living as housecats
I once had a cat before but her curiosity made her fall into open septic tank and die
Just make sure you observe them well because their curiosity tends to get the better of them

Would love to see their pictures

That's not a problem. I would upload it very soon.

I'm happy now!
You know their food smiley

Fourth day with you?
I think they are getting know about you.
Cats also have character.
So some cats take long time, some cats not take long time.

What about just open their cage and watch them?
Maybe they will come out little by little by themselves?
When they hide, give them time.
After some time, what about play with them?
Use like string? You can keep distance but if they like it, you can play with them.

When they are hungry, what about bring them food?
Keep distance and watch them?
I know some cats refuse to eat food.
But at least they are eating now?

Some peoples bath them, brush their teeth etc.
They are kitten, but not too small like a baby?

Yes.
In my country, spaying is very common.
You need to ask about it veterinarian who knows and can treat cats very well.

I really hope you and they will close to each other soon!! smiley

If my talking is meaningless or useless, I'm very sorry.

Thanks for the advice, you've been truly helpful. Never mind your English, it's not perfect but I can still understand you very well. Besides mandarin is your natural language, right?

How did you find this forum though? I mean with you being japanese.

They're usually shy when brought into a new environment so just let them adjust and get used to your house instead of caging them
But limit it to one room at first
Bathe them with lukewarm water and odourless shampoo if you have but only water if you don't. Remember they're feral cats so they might not have had a bath before. Wear protective clothing on your hands because they will definitely scratch
As for the smell, I think that's their excrete get a deep tray and fill it halfway with dry sand or cat litter cats are hygienic so they only go where they can bury their excrete. It also helps if you put it somewhere that people don't go to often
Change the sand every few days or when you notice smell

Thanks. I've cut their claws though so it's only their tiny teeth that are scary. :- smiley

You have no problem. I can understand you well and I also understand your suggestions too. You've been very helpful and you are a life saver.

Wow, you're married to a Nigerian? That's amazing. Never mind, just keep trying with your English, you'll get there. It won't be easy for me to start speaking or writing japanese ( just as you are learning English now) so don't get to worried if you aren't speaking well now, keep learning.

How have you found the forum? Has it been helpful?

I'm still learning many things from here.
I really hope I can visit Nigeria one day smiley

My English is really terrible.
Speaking English is more terrible than writing English.
I can't even pronounce what I'm writing embarassed
I can't read and write without dictionary.
But I will not give up!

Japanese is also difficult.

I hope this your message is to me?
Or I misunderstanding?
Anyway, what about your babies(your kitten) now?

Don't stress yourself too much. You'll master English very soon at the pace you're going. Just keep striving.
Glad to know Nairaland has helped you learn about Nigeria. Well, about visiting Nigeria, I hope you'll find it interesting if you ever get to come.

My kittens (Roxxy and Raven, their names), are doing better and are warming up to me. Thanks for all the help.

First of all, you need to visit a veterinarian because you found them on the street and there is the risk for them to have some animal disease or other bad things. The vet will control them and do all the things a domestic animal requires. Also, he needs to vaccinate them, but it depends on the age of the kitten. Besides that, you can visit a pet store and buy all the needed things for the animals. The shop assistant may help you if you would like to know some more information. Also, don't forget to buy qualitative food. It is dangerous to buy cheap food nowadays because it causes many diseases and destroys the animal's dental tissue. I always buy Barf Pet Foods products. It is the best quality I've ever seen and I recommend it to everybody.
