Good Morning everyone!

I literally admire our zeal,commitment and spirit. It's second to none. We haven't even applied for enrollment/admission nor have we even gotten admission and arriving at Norway already.. We have all skipped those processes and here we're discussing about their language. I like the feeling/vibe. I feel we're kinda united and going as a Big FAMILY. It shows we're tenacious and pragmatic. That's awesome!! I hail una.. By this time next year, we, Norwegian hopefuls shall all be in Norway discussing how we started lol,Amen!!

Anyone that has questions to ask,or confused in any point vis-a-vis Norwegian university application process or requirements, can freely ask me questions, I would gladly help to the maximum of my knowledge. I feel we should assist each other during the application process-and hopefully Nigerians' acceptance rate this coming admission period would be higher. Newbies,feel free to ask us questions.

Nonetheless ,it's tuition free ,no scholarship except Erasmus for social works or governmental scholarship sponsored by your govt. Prolly read from thread 80-100,you'll understand better and ask entertaining questions.

It's written entirely in Norwegian though, that is the reason i said initially if you don't have an instructor, it might be difficult to understand

What grade scale is your school using? I assume 5.0 scale in this case. Norway uses a 6-point scale.

C = 4/6

4/6 ≈ 0,66 (66%)

0,66 * 5 = 3.3

But in reality, C minus, C, and C plus are in use (not on official stuff though) so probably C average would include C minus (don't take my word for this) which means you can get in with lower than 3.3, though I can't confirm that.

It's really easy to get these things confused, so I'm not entirely sure what grading scales people's been giving me, but generally, this is the model you want to follow. I apologize for any mistakes.

Please go through the thread. I am pleading because I know it will be to your benefit. I work every day and hardly have time for personal use, yet I have read this thread more than 5 times from page 1 to End. It's this sacrifice that shows how eager and willing you are to get what you want. All the information i needed were right here on this thread. Good talk Arinze. The time to start preparing is now. Work on your letter of Motivation, write your English test if you need to increase your chances of application. Lay hold on your student's copy Transcript to enable you fashion how best to work on your motivation letter. Just know that the time to start is actually now. Cheers.

Hello gurus in the house,

Pls help examine this scenario, If someone borrowed the money, deposit the money in the account, gotten student visa, arrived Norway and completed the account opening process. After some time, since u have access to the funds, is it possible to send the money back to the lender in naija probably within a few months of staying in Norway

After amortizing the loan in one instalment, what happens to you over there. You become a burden over there or voila! You get a self-sustaining student's job immediately you get there or within those few months you mentioned. You better re-strategize carefully.

From the best of my knowledge though I'm not in the country yet but some institutions pay you the allowances monthly and some does otherwise. Deductions would be made for students dues/literature and also accommodation therein.

My advise to you if you're going to study, maximize on it. Don't be in a hurry to hustle when you get over there,concentrate most on your studies and networking. Prolly, after you've done excellently well in your 1st semester and achieved a wonderful GP, you can go-ahead and hustle. Mind you learn the basics of the language.
