Stop comparing abroad people with 9ja. We always get what we deserve in this country and people abroad gets what ever they want.

The day we all wake up to knowing what we really want as a people in Nigeria we shall rise up and fight for it but for now let us all enjoy the way things are.

I have seen the white in the carry blackcards protesting against low fares, rude riders inbthe system, axing of drivers due to rating, injustice and all sort but never for once have I seen the people of nigeria protest against a thing in this country.

Social media noise or emails won't do anything and has never done anything... Like I said, we deserve what we get and until we know what we want then we would get what ever we want.

Nigerians and protest are like parallel lines that can never meet. Most protests we do are polictally sponsored ones. We are taking shit from govt/politicians, also from uber/bolt.
BRT, Nig Railway, DSTV, Sometimes have all increased their charges, there is stamp duty on house rent, things are getting more expensive but bolt/uber aren't only keeping the fares constant but planning to slash it again. They will bring in economy class and nothing will happen, there wont be protest, we move on..............

You have a huge money spinner on your hands.

Are you driving yourself or you intend to give someone

Is it going to be available full time or part time

If part time you can do well by doing ad posts on fora like this just like that car documentation guy or dru23.

If it's full time, you should drive anywhere out of Lagos that you are familiar or feel comfortable with. Commodities markets are your number 1 targets and they are every where, north, east, west and south.

Lagos is syndicated when it comes to hauling and no matter where you go, u will find people already there and they will ask you to join and make payments to register

Also companies also register haulers for moving there goods.

It’s supposed to be part time. If work resumes, I might need it to convey my stuffs. But then, I can’t do the loading stuff ooo. Na person go run am for me.

I have gathered and still struggling to accumulate more funds to to into Uber business by early next year God's willing. I will drive myself. But I don't know the situation of things in the business presently. I don't know if it's a good business to venture into.
Your advice will be highly appreciated.

No, they won't slash it to that extent but leave you to a fare where u make lil earnings which might not be enough to pay drivers' bills and even fix cars when major repairs beacon.

Lie......!!!!! I did two trip one day n my rating drop from 4.83 to 4.53. I just had to close for the day. Cos I was demoralised. The next two days(begging for 5stars start) I got back to
to 4.93. so you can't really tell how they rate you.
Bigleaf1006:

The simple reason they do it is for security reasons, make you Noh go burst rider head or waste groundnut for him body becos him gii u 1 star.

Also it would be less efficient of your ratings have to keep moving after every trip

Then is time to wave good bye... truth is they will keep shuffling BTW drivers and rider, more drivers r entring, aftermath of Covid. So need to generate riders.

How did you determine it was in good condition? Did you take a mechanic? If yes, then maybe the others might tell you to try for 20k

Run!!

In my Jew days!! I took a car on rental for hustle, car started giving issues from the very day I picked it up.Shaft pulled that very day.

Owner accused me of spoiling it, he managed to fix but with lots of grumble.

Was able to manage to be meeting weekly rentals afterwards but car had perenial suspension problems from ball joints to linkages to steering sockets to disc,to tyres even to a/c.

At end of the day owner accused me of damaging all these things and insisted i must fix after collecting his weekly rentals. We ended up at police station.

I will never forget that drama all my life

You have been looking for a car for a while now so I advise you take it. The 25k will simply be your remittance for the first week.

I just hope there are no other hidden faults with the car, that's my major concern, not the money.

Nope don’t make it seem like he’s desperate. It’s this kind of attitude that makes the elite treat the commoners the way they do. He should have some dignity and self respect. How can you advise him to fix what he had no knowledge of?

I have no doubt that if he agrees, the partner will frustrate him further.

You're right bro.

I only advised him to take the offer if only he's sure no other faults with the car.

Since he doesn't know if the car has other faults, it is logical he lets go of the car..

It is not your duty to fix a car you are renting. If the car is not okay for e-hailing and weekly remittance the same hour you pick it up, then don't bother yourself at all.

Let me use two of my previous partners as examples. I remember one gave me #5,000 cash to buy fuel in the car to start off. The other was a fleet Management company. The day I went to pick the car, the fuel tank was full, plus I had two free days to drive and report any faults before I started remitting.
