Hello everyone,

I'm a silent follower of this thread.
I got a funded studentship (tuition waived) 2yrs Masters by research position at Letterkenny Institute of Tech. with €6k/year stipend. Do I still need to provide statement of account/bond for visa processing.

I had this issue with a lump sum lodgement I undeliberately omitted to explain.

I later sent a followup mail to the Nigerian visa office email and even added some attachment as proof to back up my claim.

Fortunately, THE VAO was sympathetic.

I sent you a mail, please your reply would be appreciated.

Please I have a question, my sponsors bank statement is 7 months. Would it still be accepted?
Again, would a bulk sum that was made before the 6months interval still be questioned?
@IcasNg @Dwebb55
You only need six months statements of account

Would they reject the one I presented, cos that's what my sponsor printed and it was already late to print another one.

When did you submit?

On the 28th. So now we haven't done biometric, would they start processing our applications without it? This thing is not funny sha

Morning,

Congrats! Irrespective of the scholarship you will be required to present 6 months personal bank statement and access to 3m as proof of living expenses since your program is for 2 years.

You can present your personal acct with a closing bal of 3m whilst explaining and providing proof on all lump sum or present 4.5m through a sponsors account preferably a biological relative.Don't forget to include all documents showing proof of the scholarship and stipend promised.

All the best

Thank you ICaSNg ...Suppose I transfer 3M to my account now, How do I give convincing explanation for the lump sum? or what explanation would you suggest I state?

Also, does sudden heavy lump sums (say 3 - 4m) in my sponsors account need explanation?

@ICAS please assist in this regard.

I have an initial budget of N8m for my MS study plan.
But with the fall of naira, my budget has become deficit.
Please is there any advice you can offer, maybe combination of bond and little balance as proof of fund after payment of fee to address this situation.
Thank you

Congratulations for those who have gotten approvals.

Please for those who are there already, how can we help get easy and less expensive accommodations.
Better still, accommodation in a shared that we can pay and join before we get familiar with the system.

What I mean exactly is, for older persons(persons there) willing to assist us newly approves, staying in a free shared accommodation and it's vacant, can tell us so we pay and join them if it works like that.
Thank you.

If going to Griffith College, you could send them an email @ their International office , they are proposing using Charter plane to airlift their students later in the year.

Request on Duo lingo's website to have you results sent to Irish Embassy. They will email you requesting for your IELG./ IRL number- This number will be gotten after submitting at the VFS, email it to them once you submit.

It is very important to note the Duo-lingo is only acceptable for September/October 2020 admissions only

Explanation is always the source of the funds with convincing proof. I don't know where / how the money got into your account and can't advise on how to explain such. You could DM
