Please educate us on the places that depend on Lagos port. The silly or assumed dependent on Lagos port is purely idiotic and politics. The moment the shithole ceases to exist, the Lagos will have to compete with others ports in other nation states such as Warri port, Calabar port, Onne port, Bonny port and even Port Harcourt port without any silly federal government of Nigeria's directives.

Or ask him neighboring Cotonou with seaport that landlocked countries like Niger and even core northern Nigerian states like sokoto, Kano etc depends on. How developed and rich is Cotonou with its seaport and small population?

Lagos is prospering simply because of its affinity to Nigeria.
Nigeria has been her gain.

The average Yoruba man I have met on the street don't want biafra. So many of them including you.
Did you watch Tinubu station TVC on journalist hang out? How yorubas were ranting and speaking against Biafra and celebrated the python dance. How a Yoruba soldier used overzealousnes to injure himself in Abia state in trying to enforce python dance
Hope you read articles written by yorubas against Biafra yet you claim you don't have boundaries with us, so why all those write ups and rants on TVC
You can continue lying to yourselves but not me.
Even if you don't talk we understand your body language
What the Bleep u saying, you pleb!! Post the videos of any Yoruba opposing your Biafra here or post links to any Yoruba politician and traditional rulers whre they said ibos shouldn't get their Biafra, post them or forever remain bleeping silent.

Like I said, you know nothing. Check the smallest countries in the world. Then come back.
They are bunch of arrogant jokers. That's how they always claim that every December they leave for their ipobic potopotor homeland, Lagos is always boring, yet during that same December, almost every artist sold out shows in Lagos. I don't know who told them Lagos economy collapsed when they left or Lagos recorded a reduced igr during that period. Nonsense.

...your response would get good support if it were true that the five states, or the region in itself, is a respectable economic performer.

You must find some other index with which to brand SE, land and economy ranking work against you. Lagos state is a tiny state but economic giant. The whole SW region is the top income earner for Nigeria and also the top culturally diverse society, and in land size the region is the biggest in the South.

So Ibos need to define new brandings, economic or geographic does not work well in your favour.

Niger State's landmass is larger than that of The Netherlands and Belgium combined, and so?

Igboland is roughly the same size with Switzerland.

Northern States are half desert and unproductive.

Other Nigerians including Yoruba elders saw the quality of the igbos and decided that they are worth dying for.
Even if I post, you will still start questioning the authenticity of the source
Maybe not you but all the yorubas around me here are afraid that igbos shouldn't go. My landlord from osun state especially

It belonged to the Efik people who later became Nigerians. Obong of Calabar and Queen Victoria of Great Briatin once signed a treaty that included Bakassi. One wonders which Cameroonian figurehead had whiff of the treaty.

Bakassi was Cameroonian territory even before the British took over administration of it after world War one. Do you know Cameroon was a German colony?

The dream of every Ipob member
But that's true, let's look at it this way. What made Lagos what it is today, the sea port, the airport, the various oil companies with their head office in Lagos and then the manufacturering company.

For the oil company no one will even have office in Lagos if not for Niger Delta.
What is Chevron office and estate doing in lekki if not for the oil in Niger Delta. If Lagos was a different country n Niger Delta was a different country Chevron wouldn't be in Lagos.

Lagos port is very busy because people from all over Nigeria import goods through that port. If Lagos was a different country from South south and South East. The volume of Lagos wouldn't be this much.

Same can be said about Lagos airport.

The reason there r so many manufacturing company in Lagos is because of the sea port n airport.

That is why we need an even development across the country so that we know those who are working hard, the state is that more viable and competitive outside favouritism.

So lagos is just 3km...and they will still be shouting that they are the most developed. U need 7m to develop a 50 by 100 land.but u will need more to develop 10000 hectares of land.same reason ghana is more developed than Nigeria cuz Edo state is bigger than Ghana spits

Nigeria 36 state ranked in terms of GDP and per capital income. It will shocked you that the revenue of Lagos state alone is enough to feed the whole of Northern region minus kano. The combination of the Southerners, East and West are the driving force of this nation. And one barbarians is talking about land mast in the northern states.
The land that can't be fertile without manure and fertilizer . The land that was majorly dominated by hills. Bullshit
I'm Proud of my state, Akwa ibom. we have really come this far.
We are bigger than Rivers in GDP and I never knew.

All this Rivers Children especially that one called #Uchasa shouldn't be dragging clothe with us again, we don pass them.

The entire NIGERIAN Nation which you claim is BIG is SMALL my Brother.
CALIFORNIA State in the United states is Half the size of the entire Nigerian Federation.

TEXAS is 2/3rd the size of the entire Nigeria.
ALASKA is bigger than Nigeria+Benin+Togo+Ghana all put together.
These are just 3 STATES ooooo
Yet our Population in Nigeria is chasing that of the United States with the speed of Light.
That's the only DEVELOPMENT we are good at grin grin grin grin

No doubt the entire SOUTHEAST is small but it's 2 times bigger than Jamaica. grin grin.
QUESTION of the DAY:
Now if it's really small, why does the Nigerian Government find it difficult ceding such a small portion to self actualisation with territorial integrity, if they could easily cede a small Bakassi..?

Good one

northern states are supposed to be more active in agriculture as regards to their landmass.

but you see states like Akwa ibom, Ebonyi, Anambra, doing awesomely well In agriculture
