You are very correct. The irony is that they are littered everywhere with lower prices compared to the original LG.

I use Samsung Smart Tv now and am happy eventhough it’s expensive.

What I was asking ? The technology of plasmas had remained too fragile and a number of issues had remained untamed for two decades.

Still wondering none of d repliés looks towards my own brand. Op wen it comes to quality TV brand just go for Panasonic. It's an unbeatable brand. Costly though u will enjoy it to d fullest, resolution n rugedness wise.

Depends. When you talk of TV, LG is the best;
when you talk of Sound system, Sony is the best.
When you talk of A/C , Samsung is the best.

I've been using the above Electronic machines for the past 6 years and no mechanic has eaten a dime from me, because none of them has developed any fault whatsoever.

Qualify this your best as being mass market items please. For audio systems it has been decades since Sony lost the quality war and joined the rat race of volumetrics.

Their African and Mid-East range of products are nowhere near as clean as in the heyday battles with Panasonic, Bose and Pioneer.

They now struggle for scraps with my all time junk makers, Sharp.

LG is much better, make sure you buy from main LG distributor

My 42 inch toshiba regza lcd TV is over 11 years old.
No issues whatsoever.

Still scouting Argos for a good bargain but the exchange rate na tori for another day.

I bought 32inches TV plasma LG for my mum since 2012 for 49K tear leather, till tomorrow the tin still dey work, if NEPA like make dem reduce the voltage by minus 100% the TV go still on, nothing concern am with anyhow light do, the TV get voltage controller in it I think, forget about that TV guide of a thing, that tin is useless jor, I get am like three types, non dey regulate voltage as expected, just shine ur eyes and buy beta TV, some Belgium ar more durable than these overrated new TV

more so, there is fake LG, talking from experience

Talking about TV durability and all-round quality.
Some of these other TVs (LG, Samsung, JVC, others)...many of them are imbalanced.
It's either picture is good, and sound is poor..
I remember buying a JVC led one time...sharp Pix but I had to increase all volume to 100 before I can hear something...dats poor.
A friend of mine in the name of having a big tv bought a Hisense 50 inch...the pix quality was so poor I was embarrassed watching DStv...it's like ure watching a mobile quality video on a big tv.
LG is balanced but sound quality is very light.
To cut this long story short...these are my ratings..

*SONY stands so tall...I use it..solid display, full options menu.. intelligent display n settings.
*Panasonic..
*Sharp
*Samsung
*LG
Others.

A new brand making strong waves and good rating is TCL...I heard it's a complete TV!
Am giving it a trial.

To me go for toshiba, Panasonic, Sony, sharp, my dad left that 72 inches Sharp for me which he bought in 2002 and I still dey use am as my papa most precious will he left for me.
