Am sure we have staffs of the university who are on pay, no matter the percentage during the lockdown period, yet to maintain the campus is a Problem

A Visit to the university environment shows how grass has grown tall and covered even concrete built path ways.

Pictures speaks for itself.
What's the duties of the gardeners? Have they not been receiving their salaries?

You see, ..... governance is not only about brilliant mind. They can't just get to do the right thing. Our issues are not about education...it's about applying what is being learned. Shame.

Seems the curse that follows this country is a national curse.

I pray one day we can have regional governments. At least let one region try to move forward. How come the problems on Nigeria exists in every nooks and crannies.

If my region cannot move forward, let another region move.

Regional government won't help much.

Even when we had regional governments in the 1950's and 60's, the same old corruption was there.

If the regions were working...what business did Chukuma Kaduna Nzeogwu have in removing the old system

Besides, if the Benue state university admin cannot keep their grasses clean under a state government, what makes you think a region would be better.

Recall that we have states because people, especially from the minority tribes, agitated for states. Benue state...created from the old Benue Plateau state....was the result of minorites agitating for state because they felt that the Northern region was too far away in Kaduna and was not hearing them.

Nigeria needs change...just not from restructuring.

The fact that we didn't get it right when we had regional government does not mean that we cannot give it a trial again.

My brother the reason why the whites ate better than us is that they review their systems and enhance it to adapt to modern changes.

Truth is that the present system is defective. Nothing wrong in trying a new system. And a good one is to take government to regions. If for nothing, we could be getting real patriotism.

Gardeners don't receive salary. They are contracted per job and are unlikely to receive money while school is completely closed. At least for the federal schools I know. Jobs such as security, gardening, cleaning are contracted to companies and the workers are not on the school payroll

Chai Nigeria has fertile Land for agriculture... Do you knw that there are countries in this planet earth that budget billions of dollars every years just to have ordinary artificial grasses not to talk of agricultural products.. we can turn our negativity to positivity , we can make Nigeria food basket of the world, we can feed the world if we have realistic government which we don't have at the moment...
