Re: INEC Introduces Election Result Viewing Portal by BlueBanana: 7:27pm On Aug 06, 2020
Nice development but they should also make the vote counting electronic and phase out manual vote counting, as that has always been the main avenue ballot snatchers have used to disrupt elections.

It should be done in such a way, that once an electorate thumb prints on the logo of his preferred political party which will be displayed on a monitor, the vote is electronically counted and recorded and can be viewed in real time from the portal.

Before anyone says this is too taking or complex, this is what is done in South Africa, Votes cast are electronically counted and displayed in real time on a giant monitor for all to see.

Re: INEC Introduces Election Result Viewing Portal by Nobody:
Why does anyone need to log in and out?
Why do they need confidential details of anyone?

Why not just update results real-time on the online dashboard.
Re: INEC Introduces Election Result Viewing Portal by Racoon(m): 7:39pm On Aug 06, 2020
All these are charade because INEC needs to get the NASS to legislate on e-voting.

Re: INEC Introduces Election Result Viewing Portal by Cyberterror: 7:47pm On Aug 06, 2020
Good as long as it is not electronic voting or electronic transmission of results because PDP has many hackers on their payroll waiting for the order to manipulate online election results. Thank God, Interpol has arrested two of them in Dubai and extradited them to America to face justice.

Re: INEC Introduces Election Result Viewing Portal by SmartPolician:
Nigerian government should engage IBM so that they can back up the election results in the blockchain.

Politicans are terrible people, and they can engage good hackers to carry out series of coordinated cyberattacks on the server

We still have time

Blockchain technology is the answer
