Otopxy, mind you the 100percent scholarship covers only Tuition and accommodation, living expenses is not part of it.

Lol. You make the living expenses sound like a big deal. With 15-20k naira, you can live monthly here.

That would cover your feeding, students usually have a bus pass for buses so as long as your accommodation is covered, you're good to go.

Just get a part time jobs and. save your money

To all who got scholarship, big congrats to you guys.

My advise, hustle and get your plane ticket money. For BTA, if you see $500, with the scholarship, you're good to go for 6 months sef but if you can, hold 500-1000. It's still your money and you won't have to worry about anything for a looking time.

Then get food stuffs and other basic things from Nigeria so you don't start spending when you get here.

Again, congratulations!

If funds permit, y'all can meet up, plan and travel together. HCMC is far from you if not, I for come pick Una from airport

I could see that some folks here are trying to enter Vietnam through study. In the light of this, some of you who are qualified could try this scholarship out.

https://cis.tdtu.edu.vn/news/2020/scholarships-other-international-students-except-laotian-thai-cambodian-filipino-burmese.

I came across this via LinkedIn, and I thought it could help some people here. Therefore, explore the link and do not ask me any question. I have done my part in helping humanity.

Good luck.
It gladens my heart that some of you were proactive by applying for this scholarship, and that you were successful!!. I also understand the fact that it doesn't cover your living expenses. Nevertheless, just go for it and remain optimistic; you will be fine when you get there.

Well, the name of the school is Ton Duc Thang University.

The scholarship is 100%. I am requested to confirm my acceptance and provide further infirmation to help them arrange my visa.

From their website they only accept international students from certain countries. I sent them a mail and they confirmed that.

Kindly verify your country before you make any payment.

plz sharing the list of eligible countries. We also want to know if nigeria is on that list?

I used keyword "nigeria" to search and found that naija and ghanaian students have studied here as well. Maybe the subject you are pursuing does not accept international students from africa?

Naija, what you are crucifying her for is the very first thing i took home from this thread.
Cryomancer:
My dear... I only boldly called you out over what I observed. I know you owe nobody anything here but trust me Ma'am, your thread is far from helping/putting anybody through the process of migration to Vietnam, and your response and evasion of some questions proves it all, that's why I called you out.

For the fact that you could even say someone is angry over their life, says a lot about you already. Because, just in the space of howmany months you migrated, you're already using your own comfort to throw jabs at other people you knew nothing about their past nor present.

Ma'am like I said earlier "Life is very funny", and you're there today doesn't mean people won't get there too... Please be humble.!!

Enjoy your new life... May the best come your way.

I didn't see any mail but lemme just ask it here. I went to the hospital for full medical examination check up/reports but I was told a full one will cost me more than 200k that whoever is asking for such report will give me a form listing their required medical test reports.

So is there a medical form I'm suppose to get before going to the hospital and who am I to get it from?

Just do the basics.

HIV 1 and 2
Syphilis
Hepatitis A and B
Chest x-ray

Then they should state you're fit and healthy.

200k. Which hospital did you go to?

Thank you,
the hospital said over 200k if I would do the full (all) medical examination. But since I won't be doing all, then no problem.
