That is when he has gotten admission.
Sure. Do ur research well to know, even some federal schools accept 2.2.
Thank you so much, i believe state owned Universities will be better due to lesser competition.

Oh, then its not really a problem.
When you finally gain admission, you can go to the school ICT and change it.
Or
You can send the school ICT a Mail telling them about the discrepancy in your DOB.
They will correct it.

Thanks. cool but what's their email address?

Hello everyone, is it possible to be offered admission into a state owned medical school with a second class lower degree in Biochemistry from a federal University?
You may want to begin your research from Calabar.

Best regards.

Nop, on the Direct Entry form.

If it's on the DE form then you can correct it on Jamb's portal.

You don't have to mail the school, apply for data Correction on Jamb's portal and get it done.

Your school will collect your details from Jamb's portal.

2500 is the online payment. The cbt centre will charge you though.

You should budget 3000 to 3500

I plan on doing it myself with my system.

You can no longer do data correction on your own. You must go to accredited CBT centre or pay those cafe guys to help take your details there if you can't go because of these appointment wahala or so. You can only pay yourself online or pay there.

I need maximum reply to this post abeg

I am probably just too ahead of myself but I can't help asking this abeg. I am not a medical student yet, although I think I stand a good chance. I have applied and all but still, anything can happen. But I like to plan ahead for things and I am already thinking of life as a medical student. From various things I have read about medical schools by medical students here, I understand I am going to be awfully busy and 24hours will be barely enough when the time comes (and here I am at home thinking of what to do with excessive time I have now..lol) but I can't imagine the thought of being dependent on my sponsor for the next 7 years. It's just so horrible to me. The expensive schools fees, the expensive and numerous books and then my own fine boy upkeep money, accomodation and feeding and other things. So here I am asking current and past medical students, is it ever going to be possible for me to hustle while in medical school to atleast make things easier on my sponsor and make my life eaiser. And also, what kind of hustle can I indulge myself in then that I will have time for. Have you yourself as a medical student done anything like this or seen any medical student hustle for money while in school. Btw, I am 20yrs Old. Thanks.

Yes it is possible to have a little business in med school all you need is to effectively manage your time between studies and business. Some of my colleagues do engage in web design, blogging, photography, catering, buying and selling of clothes, shoes, wristwatches and other accessories.

So you may choose to learn and acquire a digital skill now ranging from web design, graphic design, digital marketing or blogging and work as a freelancer at your spare time. The key is "Time Management".

I know someone that runs a WhatsApp TV in the name of his school..he has nothing less than 10k veiws..he collects 1k per advert and just imagine he makes 3 adverts per day on his status...3k . though it's stressful kind of it's just the sacrifice you'll have to pay. and you need a good phone too apart from your personal phone. I guess it's something you can do too..you just need to be wise in your timing.

Your score is quite low for medicine and you know the quota for IMSU is 50.
