But again two months later I started noticing the same symptoms again, and it's been close to two months now I have been managing it like that because there's no way I could go back to the nurse because I'm very far away from school, because of the shutdown of schools.

Please Nairalanders I need your help on what to do, I'm not feeling okay with the stuff, its worrying me so badly and I can't stay a minutes without it itching me and I'm now feeling depressed over it now, please I really need your help please, thank you

He visited a fake and/or uncertified laboratory probably because it is cheap. I can bet without doubt that the person who ran that test is NOT a licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist who is specialized in Medical Microbiology.

There are walk-in patients/Direct consumer patients (DCT) who go to medical laboratory to run routine or follow up tests all over the world. It is not illegal or unethical.

When a case like the above presents itself, proper medical laboratory investigation can bevdone with referral to physician whom the Scientist or laboratory works or partners with as I have so advised him hereunder...




He needs to go through a GP before 'escalating' to a Dermatologist who is a specialist in a Federal hospital.

Why I am taking my time to educate you is because of your ignorant sweeping derogatory statement against Medical Laboratory Scientists. I'm a PhD in the field and I feel I am qualified to give this lecture so you do not propagate your ill-informed views to others.

What kind of lab will do culture test and won't write out sensitive drugs after doing sensitivity? This op should combined it with urethra swab. I suspect incomplete story here. Op are u sure you follow the treatment or you didn't get the right drugs? Levofloxacin, Gentamicin, Rifampicin, Ciprofloxacin are all effective against Staph aureus.
