The name is Slate plate, mostly use by Chinese people... And some big hotels in Nigeria.


You can get it in Nigeria, but not common.

I forgot to take a picture of the spaghetti and sauce that went down with this.

I added an extra amount of pepper.

Smokey jollof rice + chicken + plantain + freshly squeezed orange juice. Yum

I totally stopped buying 5 alive pulp after I noticed orange was cheap in Abj. I went hunting for the cup in the second picture so now I take fresh orange juice and my skin is thanking me for it!

What did you get and how good?

1) I bought Uziza seed. Very good and flavorful.
2) No oha and nchanwu because I prefer them fresh.

3) The main thing I was looking for was smoked cat fish. Couldn’t find it anywhere else but there. It was really fresh like you just got it from a naija market. About $48 for 1kg (2lb). Which is a bit pricy but I was desperate.

4) The ukazi was still green. So that was good.

Other stuff were just seasoning stuff. I like her jollof seasoning. The fried rice seasoning was ‘okayish’

I haven’t used her peppersoup seasoning yet but I doubt it will beat foodace’s peppersoup seasoning. I used to to order from her from UK before she stopped selling.

5) I got some moi moi cups from her. $18 for a set of 12. They got discolored after one use. So don’t buy that one in case you’re tempted to.

6) Abacha, Golden morn, cassava flour. Were all good. The cassava flour was a bit like Delta starch so my DH loved it.

7) Her Cameroon pepper was hot and flavorful
