chrisooblog: There will be no much debate as next season is clear Werner will be first choice striker and osimhen will be first choice striker at Napoli so I am sure Abraham will not get much game time All I am saying is Tammy have had a good season currently . |

TheSuperNerd: Manchester City does not have aerial prowess, why because they keep the ball on the ground and have the technicians too dominate any team filled with 7 ft footballer. Chelsea is not the same but they don't play a game based on aerial prowess. Lille on the other hand continously drop the ball behind defenders for Victor to run on too. That tactic will not work in the EPL in the much weaker French league a very big yes. Burnley play a strategy that requires them to have the ball in the air, and as such score more headed goals. Indeed they use the strategy of headers to control the midfield. Tega Abrahams is very tall and most times jumps into the air and controls the ball with his chest getting more control indeed he is so good at it he often uses chest control to pass the ball. I dont think Victor can do that. Victor is not overly technical, his skill set is based primarily on pace and aggression, good positioning in the box, anticipation as well.as finishing. Attributes that will work in French league but not in the EPL. His one on one dominance is based on pace not skill. Indeed the EPL is evolving and moving away from the kick and rush ball over the top approach. Finally, that aggression will work in the French league that's not so intense and physical. He is not going to scare any defender in the EPL nobody is going to be scared of him. He is not a Drogba, or a Costa or a Lukaku. He will have to use something else, what that is, l don't know. 2 Likes

Why bringing in Man City? Listen, Man City is a far better ball playing side than Chelsea will ever be. That's fact. They don't have to use aerials always but they do use it occasionally. Most of their crosses are not high balls but balls aimed at some short level above the ground and below the trunk/head level of their forward players and most are executed by De Bruyne in such an attacking approach. Now I do not refer to corners, freekicks or any other deadball situation. I refer to crosses made in actual gameplays. Chelsea on the other hand uses aerials more than Man city does. They mix it up with playing through their creative wingers or through the middle but aerials is definitely a part of their game especially with a tall Tammy on the field but he just doesn't assert himself enough aerially to make them count. His aerial stats per 90 prove that without debate. Now to the rest of your epistle OBVIOUSLY LYING ABOUT THE TECHNICALITY OF OSIMHEN AND "his inability to do magic with his chest" from a high ball.... I have just the clip to debunk your claims. There are many clips on youtube eager to refresh your memory or give you new memories As I know you didn't watch Osimhen enough last season. Your statements show me that you didn't watch enough of Osimhen in Ligue 1 at all!! At all!!!!! Here you go... Watch from 3:20 in the clip below. Also, watch from 4:20 in the clip below. Excellent chest and ball controls and he didn't lose the ball. There are many instances of him using his chest to great effect in gameplays but for time sake these two examples will do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnE3AABy7DE And talking about Osimhen's Aggression and power. Wow. I see you downplay it too and say it won't come in handy in the Obviously physically intense EPL. Hahahahaha.. I laugh. I have nothing to say to that b'cos we know it is just bollocks you typed. And you say Osimhen's one-on-one situation with opposing teams is based on "only" pace? Lol... Just see that video above and see how ignorant this sounds. Osimhen got good ball control. Very decent ball control and he stays on his feet despite under huge pressure. I have watched more than enough of both Tammy and Osimhen to see the attributes both posses and what their strengths are. But you obviously have limited plus amnesiac knowledge of Osimhen. You watched Tammy all season and even trying to ascribe some attributes to him that are simply not there while you watched little of Osimhen and are here downplaying attributes he has that you know nothing about. You know Komekn, you don't surprise me. And I don't expect what I have just shown you in the clip to change your mind AT ALL. Your mind already dey "biasedly" fixed on wetin your mind dey "biasedly" fixed on. Simple. But I will say this... You claim to be a Super Eagles fan but you also forgot how Osimhen controlled the high cross pass from Awaziem to beautifully set up Chukwueze in our last competitive game against Lesotho (Check 3:56 of the video above). Mehn, if you can call Osimhen a poor technical player and claim to have watched that Lesotho game where his technical skills/abilities were obviously on show for all to see then it shows you always have amnesia when it comes to our Naija lads especially the indigenous born lads. But for Naija-foreign born lads like Tammy, Solanke, Tomori and co, you will always remember even the skills they showed at St.George park during three lions training even when they simply trained in Isolation. You ehn.... You be comic relief. Your ways no pure for here... Lol... But you are still welcome. Adios Sir Kom. komekn: 8 Likes 2 Shares |
