Big Brother Season 5 "Lockdown" housemate, Erica Nlewedim fondly tagged Erica is a Nigerian actress and commercial model. She is also fans' favourites in the ongoing BBNaija Season 5 show.



Erica

Erica who is remarkably known for her distinctively beautiful smile and look was born in Nigeria. She is a graduate from Covenant University and once stayed in London while studying screen acting at the Met Film School in the UK.



Erica's stake has quite grown ever she found herself in the middle of a love triangle involving her and two male housemates, Laycon and Kiddwaya. The intriguing love triangle has been the biggest drama in the show so far.

The dilemma of having to choose between Laycon and Kiddwaya may have confounded her but Erica has shown quite foresight and wisdom in dealing with the situation without losing one for the other.

She is no where close to be confused. Her choice of lover has many deep deep lessons for Nigerian ladies to learn should they find themselves in similar situations and there are:

1. Don't love for pity

This is the number one lesson Erica has given out. Her mind remained resolute even in face of constant persuasion from Laycon. She refused loving him the way he wants. She came forward with the way she feels for her but not in an intimate way.

Despite Kiddwaya revealing publicly that he is unsure if he has feelings for Erica, it didn't stop Erica from furthering with her emotional attachment for him. She still chose Kidd over Laycon who is head over heels in love with her. The lesson here is know what you want and don't go for less.



3. Be honest with your feelings

This is a lesson and value worth emulating from Erica. She has been honest with Laycon concerning her feelings for him without mincing words. Because of that, Laycon now knows his place in her heart.

4. Know who to keep as a friend or lover

This is one attribute that will go a long way to avoiding regrets. Know who to have as a friend or lover which clearly Erica has found herself. Laycon is that friend who will always have your back. Love can end but friendship triumphs.



5. Have standard and never lower it

Erica from day one knew what she wants and who she desires. It is clear to see what her standard is and not. It is a clear lesson for single ladies out there. Have a standard of the kind of man you want so you won't look elsewhere while in relationship.

6. Settle issues with your lover without running to another

The on and off affair between Erica and Kiddwaya never made her switched off her feelings and run to Laycon. You'll from time to time experience bumps in your relationship but don't because you know there is another who wants you run to him.



7. Don't care for public opinion

Erica is one person who doesn't care about what others think of her choice. Even when Ebuka dawned on her of what Nigerians are saying about the love triangle involving the trio, she remained steadfast in what she believes that is right for her. Learn this lesson.

8. Follow your desire

Like Erica, settle down, pause and think to discover your desire. Erica said to Laycon she is physically attracted to Kiddwaya. It is a great lesson to learn as it will aid you to know what desires you have for the kind of man you want in your life.

9. Know your worth

Whatever you do, the first thing thing you should do is knowing your worth as a person. Erica's worth is clearly known to her. Some may mistake it as throwing herself for Kiddwaya but in truth, she has assessed her worth and knows only a guy like Kidd can give her what she truly wants.



10. Be courteous and diplomatic in dealing with male's attraction

Learn from the way Erica politely turned down Laycon without severing the friendship. Both have remained friends even when Laycon knew her heart is already fixed on another. Don't rudely reject love advances, learn to be courteous and state your reasons for rejection and try remain in contact.
